This is the superior court building on Commonwealth Drive in Camp Verde. Although it's hard to rate a courthouse, I can say that my husband having to deal with judge goldstein's secretary often always says that she is extremely helpful and kind and goes out of her way to help him in the situations where driving up from Phoenix we are running late and I might need a delayed start or cannot make it and need a postponement or a telephonic appearance. I have always found with Court Personnel you either get someone extremely helpful who likes their job and it shows or someone who is seemingly disgruntled and hates their job and it clearly shows. This woman is clearly the former and we feel very fortunate to have her on our side so if you have to deal with this court for custody or family or child support and judge Goldstein is your overseeing judge, and be grateful that his secretary is in your corner!

I had to pick up some paperwork at the Clerk's office at Yavapai Superior Court and both the Security officers and the clerk that helped me, made sure I was selecting the proper paperwork and made the process so much easier than I thought it would be. Was in and out in minutes.

UPDATE: 7-26-24

Judge Wallace is now denying fee deferrals for poor folks to keep them out of her court. Today she had her staff member, David, call me and tell me I need to file documents into a case that isn't even opened, or I won't be able to proceed. He then informed me that there is no way to do that. When I got frustrated he started getting rude and saying "I'm helping you out here" as if gaslighting people is help. AVOID THIS COURT AND THIS JUDGE. NO JUSTICE HERE.

Judge Linda Wallace - A definition of corrupt is serving a purpose or interest other than intended.

I've worked with Judge Linda Wallace on 3 cases now, all as Pro Se.

Judge Wallace essentially ignores filings, facts, and evidence from the public. It appears that her sole interest is in preserving her position as a judge, and satisfying the attorneys that enter the court room. I'm not sure how she handles attorney v attorney matters, but she ignored multiple requests for TRO's that resulted in assault and battery, refused to admit permissible evidence in a civil claim, and ignored authority from federal judges stating that cases cannot be used as evidence.

This judge has zero interest in actually enforcing the law or protecting people. She's nearly the lowest level of judge in the land and you have no shot of getting justice from her unless you're willing to appeal her baseless decisions. My recommendation is to simply use a different court if you're representing yourself, or the court has a political reason not to serve justice because this judge has no interest in the spirit of the law whatsoever and has no problem looking the public in the eye, lying, and abusing her position of power.

Sharing after seeing others posts ...the ladies at the help desk are rude, uncaring and lack professionalism and empathy. For them being the only people for miles around to help....it's quite disheartening and frustrating to be treated as if you're a problem when you try to get help through the Camp Verde superior self help.

I had to get up my bravado to call for a question. The clerk of court sounded bored with my request and sent me to judicial assistant(?) who sounded like I was being offensive when I asked if there was something my fiancé and I needed to do on our end to get sentence order. She said that was the clerk of court, I asked if that was the person who just transferred me to her and she scoffed and said whoever was in court that day. So I thanked her and apologized to her for making her upset.

Most rude front-desk help I've ever experienced. I only came for show some documents, staff insisted I had some missing, and upon showing it to her and stating it was obviously there, the guard was called to tell me to stop being rude. ? I gave you what you asked for, insisted I didn't have it, and now it's my fault now that I show you I have it? "Court of LAW"

We applied for our passports here. The process was quick and easy. We arrived right at 8:00 a.m. in the morning and there was no line. It's first come first serve. Everyone we interacted with was friendly.
