I have only lived here one month but the process has been smooth. The leasing manager was very helpful and informative leading up to my move in day. Once I moved in a made a couple of maintenance request they fixed the problem in a timely fashion and was respectful while doing so. This is a great affordable place to live.

Haven’t been here very long but so far all the staff have been very helpful and kind with everything we’ve needed moving in. The apartment is quieter than expected and the neighbors that we’ve met have been friendly.

Worst place to ever consider to want to reside!!! Would have given 0 stars, wasn't an option. Once changing my mind before knowing if I was approved or not I was told that I couldn't get my 100 dollar unit hold fee!! I knew I was gone loose 100 for the application fee, and thank God I opted out within 48hrs is the only reason I got my 100 dollars hold fee back. The office personal Dylan I think us his name, is rude & need another profession. The black lady which I don't recall her name, but very uneducated to her job. One positive note was speaking to there area manager & she was pleasant. I can't say anything negative about the property owners, but they definitely need to get rid of the personnel that is running there property. I would have been posted this review however I wanted to secure my refund in a timely manner first. Make the place a last resort with no other options before choosing this place. Signed the woman who dodged a bullet!!!!!

Applied and was denied due to something on my credit report
Paid and took care of it and applied paying the $150.00 again
Was told I would now need a co signer due to credit which was not discussed when I applied a month ago … when I called the number to get the specific reason why I was denied my credit score was never brought up an old property from 3 years ago was brought up although I been renting from my current landlord for 2 years and my credit score is not even bad !!!
Overall Iam still waiting on the 1st 100.00 now basically $200 to be refunded in the mail was told it could take up to a month but it’s been over a month for the 1st one already …… this is my experience can’t speak for anyone else …

Been here for over a year now, was here when the new people took over and I can say they’ve done a pretty great job. The all stars have to be maintenance though, I know my building has been having some issues but the maintenance team has been on it quickly every time. Even coming out at midnight to help. Great group of guys and definitely need a raise!

I've been living here a little under two years, the first few months was peaceful,then after that it took a turn for the worst! I considered moving out this year,but then suddenly a new owner purchased the apartment complexes, and a change began,a good change! A new name, better management,a no none sense district manager who is very hands on, and takes her job very serious..and is working very hard to increase the living conditions/safety for the residents! I'm so glad that they took over,and they're upgrading/improving everything from the rooftops to the toilet bowls ... So with that being said..I decided to sign a new lease for another year!I feel confident in the Village Square management team to handle any problems that may occur! I am so thankful to finally have a decent and professional/courteous realty company that actually does it job, and just not here to collect the rent! I recommend Village Square formerly known as Chapel Ridge as a safe/clean place to live, and where the manager is actually hand's on/ available for the residents! 1) It will be three years that I have lived in Village square apartments, and I have been suffering from an invasive nat habitation in my drains, for the entire time that I've been here, and not only do they get on my food,the worst part of it is that they bite really hard,and it's causing me stress and anxiety, the exterminator says they can't do anything about it,and just to keep pouring bleach down all five of the drains every night! So I've been doing this for three years and it's not helping, I've spent so much money buying bleach for nats and this is not supposed to be my responsibility,I should be compensated for this! I'm at my wits end with this situation, I only get a two month break from being but between the months of December and February,then they are right back! Not to mention that the carpet and the bathroom sink and tub should have been replaced before I moved in the apartment,but it wasn't and they're very old and worn out..And I freeze my @$$ off in the winter, from cold air coming through my bedroom window, even after maintenance "attempt "🙄 to seal it!Other than that, I really don't have any other complaints, that I would want to put on Google right now anyway...

Noisy neighbors shooting every weekend and every time the office closes for the day. Management was good people plus the new matinance guys were awesome . Other then that just not a great place to live people watching you leave your house hanging out an breezeways and also leaving loads of trash on steps attracting Raccoons an Rats . Also constantly having roaches and I mean cocker roaches
