The store is big and spacious. My first impression of the gentleman at the register is that he wasn't very friendly. Perhaps he was tired or having a rough day.
Lots of options here and will serve a good cause with your purchases!

Beside the Salvation Army price gouging their patrons, this place was completely unorganized with no sizing (just color coordinated). An employee said "excuse me" and before I had a chance to move, she was barging into me to put up some shoes. The carts (all 4 of them) squeaked incessantly. There was absolutely nothing worth purchasing and I found a Montana West purse similar to the one I got off Amazon brand new for $25 for the same price here, used. Absolute highway robbery. Go elsewhere cause the company's stores are screwing over people left and right with these insane prices.

Clothes need to be sorted by size, prices are high, and I rarely find anything worthwhile, which is weird because Homewood is relatively affluent. It makes me wonder if they send the donations here to other stores and bring in junk to this one? The last time I went, my daughter and I were ready to check out when the cashier rudely informed us that we had to stand behind a line and made us wait, even though there was no one else checking out at the time.

I visited on a Saturday but was still able to find some great finds for myself. I found a few clothing items priced $4-7 and tried them on but several of them had holes which can be expected I guess. I was interested in 2 items that I wasn't sure if they worked. The man I think who runs the store went above and beyond to help me out by checking the items out to make sure they worked. They were priced more than fair and I was very pleased with my experience.

I’m kind of a big deal when it comes to thrifting. I kind of invented it. I say this to try and describe to you that I do actually have standards , I don’t just love them all. Now with that said, this one too is awesome. It’s fairly new and is coming tog they quite nicely. Their stock grows and improves daily. I go there at least once a week so I feel I can rightly speak on it.
The people are great, it’s very clean.
If you just go one time you may believe it’s the opposite of all the food things I said.

Let me reiterate. It’s coming together as it should. And with each new week, I see more and more professional dedicated people doing new things for new changes implemented. Meaning they are growing at the rate they should.

This one ranks up in my 5 in the Birmingham Metropolitan area.

Shout out to Reginald Hendrix for making donating fun! He always greets you with a friendly smile and offers a helpful hand to unload your items. Then yesterday I saw how he had the stuffed animals displayed for the kids. His small act of kindness made my day. Thank you for being a positive influence, keep up the good work, the world needs more people like you!
