EDIT: a lot of the reviews on here are fake many of them come from employees of the managment company. This can be proven by searching some of the names on linked/internet.

Lived here for 3 years, the place was a mess the entire time. Management couldn't care less, in fact, thats how they want it. Minimum maintenance effort= maximum profitability.

This also extends to the effort and competence of the front office staff. They called 3 days after I moved out and turned in the keys, asking "when are you going to turn in the keys?" Then they came up with a story about how I underpaid my utilities and owed them my security deposit + around $400. They did not relent until I manually calculated everything and provided them proof. Then they reluctantly sent back my security deposit. They had debt collectors calling us every day for about a week. Pretty obvious extortion attempt.

Their phone system is also bizarre and seems to be an attempt to delay you until you hang up. I would call and press the digit for "Current residents" and wind up leaving a voicemail. Then call back and press the digit for "New residents" and they would usually answer. (And be rude when I called them out on this behavior) It all depends on if the employee wanted to get off his/her phone and actually do something that day.

The amenities are a joke, the sports simulator was broken for months on end, the pools were often dirty, hot tub often cold, coffee machine out of order. They blame in on tenant abuse, but also do not do anything to fix the issues.

The biggest issue is the overall filth of the place. If you go on a tour, make sure you see the garage stairwells, garage elevators, and some of the garage areas, they are gross!

On multiple occasions they promised "Stairwell cleaning" projects, but I never saw any improvement. "Stairwell cleaning" usually meant, a light sweeping. What it really needs is a high pressure wash with water and chemical.

If you like a grubby place with zero up-keep and management that happy-talks you and pretends to care, then this place is for you!

I lived here while 3-4 different managers ran the place and 2 different management companies, they were all equally bad, so don't expect anything to change.

I've lived here for quite some time now and I have come to really enjoy the amenities, the pool area, and the location of the district. The leasing office has always been welcoming and kind whenever I have any questions/concerns. And whenever I had maintenance related issues Gio and the maintenance team are always on it. Super efficient, professional, and respectful when coming into my home. I truly appreciate it.

Kimberly with Apartment Life does a great job hosting community events each month. I've met many new people at the events and always have a good time. I highly recommend The District to anyone looking for a fun, interactive community.

I’ve been living at the District at Scottsdale for a year and I’m a very tough critic. However, my experience here has been fantastic!
Also, the management changed when I moved in, so I have no experience prior to this.

The community atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it’s clear that the management team puts in a lot of effort to create a positive living environment.

One of the highlights of living here is the amazing resident events s/o to Kimberly. Whether it’s a game night, a yoga class, or a sunset BBQ night, there’s always something fun happening. These events are a wonderful way to meet neighbors and build a sense of community. The attention to detail in planning these events is evident, from the great food and drinks to the entertainment and activities provided. They make living here more than just staying in an apartment; it feels like being part of a community.

The amenities are top-notch, and I appreciate how well-maintained everything is, from the gym to the pool area. The staff is friendly and always responsive to any needs or questions, which adds to the overall experience.

Overall, I’m very happy to call the District at Scottsdale my home. The great events, friendly community, and fantastic amenities make it a wonderful place to live!

I’ve been living at The District for over a year, and it’s been amazing! The team is super friendly and they are great at what they do, especially Gio from maintenance, who always gets things done quickly. They’ve all been so kind to me and my dog—I couldn’t ask for a better place to live. Highly recommend!

Our events at The District have Benny ABSOLUTELY amazing. Kimberly has brought so many people together. She has truly made feel like this place called home and that we are all not just strangers but neighbors. The maintenance is incredible. Gino is the sweetest human to ever exist. Definitely recommend living at The District at Scottsdale. Nothing short of an amazing experience.
