The manager tried to cash my mother's postdated check, then charged her a late fee. (Keep an eye on your financial affairs when dealing with Amanda).
*Office management is rude to guests and tenants.
*Management will quickly tow your vehicle.
*Some walkways are uneven and, therefore dangerous, especially for the elderly.
*Large potholes throughout the parking lot.
*The rent is affordable so that's a plus during these hard financial times.

I’ve lived at stonewall for over 5 years now and I love it. They are making renovations and all my neighbors are great. The ladies at the office have always been great. I’ve seen people be completely rude to them and they handle situations professionally so if anyone says anything other, it’s not true. Also, the rent is the cheapest in the area and I feel the safest, it’s quiet here without all the crime that’s going on like in other parts of JAX.

Stonewall Apartments have been wonderful! I have been a tenant for 8 yrs in a 1 bedroom 1 bath that had a fireplace, and recently got into a 2 Bed 2 Bath unit. I’ve paid my rent on-time, followed the lease guidelines as any good tenants should and have had no issues. Adjustments in pricing with inflation and additional services are inline with basic economics. I’ve had several work order requests over the years and all were addressed promptly and professionally. The location is absolutely the best in the local and surrounding area with Kroger and Walmart 3-5 minutes driving distance away. The construction and traffic pattern improvements being made extremely close to Stonewall are just that much more reason to stay here. I expect several more years here.

Yes, inexpensive~at first. You can expect your rent to go up by $20 each year.
You can also expect to re-clean your bathroom and kitchen when you move in.
The parking lot areas are full of potholes and torn up concrete.
You can't pay rent online, and there's no drop box. You have to physically go to the office during business hours.
If you need maintenance, make sure you can be at your apartment when the work is done.
If you are handicapped or physically disabled, this isn't the place for you. Nothing special will be done to accommodate your ingress or egress if you're in a wheelchair.
For the most part, it's quiet, but I recommend having a Ring system or cameras for your entry way. I have both indoor and outdoor cameras. If you do rent here, mind your P's and Q's. Otherwise, you'll be treated like a trespasser.

The manager(s) at the Stonewall Apartments are simply WONDERFUL, even the maintenance workers! Beyond polite, caring, and understanding! The community is so professional and polite too. Everybody gets along there. Waving neighbors and a wonder staff, for sure!
