Shaws in Ellsworth is a nice store. It is always clean and well organized. Their meat selection and seafood are always fresh and good quality. Produce selection is good, and they always have cooked chickens. The store has a nice small-town vibe but everything you need.

An excellent supermarket and large selection. Nice bakery and deli, and good prices. Just needs more cashiers (or self checkouts) — 6:30 pm on a Sunday with two registers open and at least 6 people in each line.

Best grocery store around, we drive a ways to get to the store but it’s well worth it. Highly recommend using the Shaws app and use the coupon feature. I’ve had $200 come off my total at check out by using the digital coupons and checking the sales. Products at Shaws are higher quality than Hannaford or Walmart, all around from produce to frozen products.

I haven't shopped in Shaws in Ellsworth for a few years. I usually go to Hannaford, which I like. I stopped at Shaw's to see if I could find some items out of stock in Hannaford and was pleasantly surprised. What a nice store. It's so clean and modern - and the aisles are easy to maneuver around. The produce section is really inviting and well stocked and maintained... and... because it's on the corner of a side street and easy to get to and from, it has become my go - to grocery store when I'm in Ellsworth. I have nothing negative to say about Hannaford, but just wanted to let folks know that Shaw's is just as nice and in a convenient location.

First time in a Shaws for a long time. I was impressed, the store was full, clean, and had many items I didn't expect. Previously, I was less than impressed with the cleanliness and anemic looking shelves. They seem to be upping their game. Good Job.
