Buen ambiente pero si no eres amantes a los perros después de la 6pm no vallas, porque verás muchos de ellos, es las horas permitidas.

Cute Maine beach. Very limited parking. Residents can park closer, but non-residents must park and walk about 1/4 mile away.

Beach is typical Maine sand - very tightly packed and some areas are rocky. Walk down to the right and there's a small loop trail with some small benches to sit and watch the waves.

Some shells and trinkets can be found here. Very nice beach to walk and explore. Dog friendly. No services whatsoever.

They really should put trash receptacles at the very least for the dog bags filled with feces. I counted 12 bags. I usually clean up, but I'm not carrying dog crap in my car until I find a trash can. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit and stroll on the beach. We witnessed a poor seal who has been deceased. Two other people tossed it back I to the ocean. I don't know I'd this is a common occurrence here as I don't live in the area.

Loved watching and hearing the waves. Good ocean therapy if you can get past the dog feces.

Love this beach to take my dogs, it's beautiful and don't forget to head to the other side and around the point.

If you like seaweed, dogs and what dogs leave behind this place is for you! We went in December and only stayed less than an hour lots of dogs off leash. People did not bother to take the poop bags with them. Why bag the dog poop and leave it? When we left nobody else was on the beach so it's not like they are coming back for it. 1/2 the beach was covered in seaweed and it stunk. It's nature. But some people don't like that kind of thing. Kinda looks like a party spot. Burnt logs and trash.

I think it would have been a beautiful spot if the human aspect was not involved. I can definitely understand why others have talked about parking being frustrating. It's a very small parking lot. I can imagine that in the summer it is very full.

Exclusivity is a bad thing. However, if you have ever watched the 2012 animated film "The Lorax" you would probably be aware of the paradoxical question of whether the beauty of nature is inherently destroyed by publicity. Is exclusivity the only way to prevent the exploitation of nature's magic? Crescent Beach represents this paradox.

I love the beach. I have stayed at a rental house for the past two years with my family by the beach, and, though it has hardly any surf, it is truly ideal for lounging and swimming. I also love that it is dog-friendly (I am sure my dog appreciates it as well). I also believe that this beach should be accessible to everyone. That being said, part of the beach's wonder comes in the fact that it is always quite empty. There are always a few families there during the day, and some around bonfires at night, but the lack of public parking makes it so that the little strip of shore can never be deemed “crowded”.

Is it wrong for me to abuse this beach? To take advantage of the fact that the Airbnb that my family has stayed in abuts the sand? Is it an abuse of my privilege, or is it using my privilege for good?

These questions could easily lead me to a much larger existential crisis about the meaning of privilege and the preservation of nature. However, if you're in the area, stop by the beach. I would recommend getting there sooner rather than later, as there is very little parking for non-Kittery residents.

My 4 yr old calls this the stinky beach. It is a natural beach so no one cleans it. After storms or very high tides there are sea "leftovers" on the beach, which draws in deer flys and sand flies which bite hard. When the wind is blowing from inland you sometimes get big gas smell. You also have to have a kittery dump sticker on your car to park in the very small lot on this beach. With all that being said, the water is clear. There are tide pools to explore. There are actually two sides of the beach separated by a rocky outcrop which helps make excellent waves on the right side of the rocks (great for body boarding) it is a nice gentle slope into the water and lots of shells and sometimes sea glass! You can bring your dogs during the winter spring and fall any time, and after 5pm during the summer. The beach is closed from 11pm to 6am. You can park on sea point road And walk down if you cannot find a spot on the beach. The people are nice, super kid friendly beach and never crowded.

A beach away from it all. I've collected sea glass and small snail shells from here. Not a lot of drift wood or big shells if you're a collector. But its a hidden gem with a beautiful, small, sandy beach. Its a great spot for Sunrises in Kittery. I do believe you can have a small beach fire here....so I'm told!
