Hours of business state 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and also it says open on Saturday, but they're not open on Saturday.
I pulled in the gate today, Friday 4/19 at 4:45 pm, I entered the scale at 4:47 PM. An employee comes out to tell me they are closed for the day & they take their last customer at 4:45 pm. Now, just 2 weeks prior to today I was there and I was there at 4:50 PM & as another vehicle pulled in whike i was unloading i made a comment to one of the employees Saying how they have people coming in right up to 5 o'clock. He said oh yea & He's seen people coming at 4:59pm & they would unload. There's nothing posted anywhere on their signs at the gate or on a Billboard on the road, stating that they take their last customer at 4:45 PM, even specifically on Fridays, it doesn't state that. Personally, I just think that no one wanted to work for the last 13 minutes of their day because I was just ready to go home because obviously, they feel they've done more work than what they felt like they had to do. I can assure thats the last time I wil pull in scrap daddy's and I hope that a lot of people will start staying away from there as well. Matter fact I hope they lose their business license And they all have to go somewhere else and work for someone where they have to work right app until qutting time and not leave 13 minutes early or quit 13 minutes early.

I won't ever go back here when you drive threw there is metal and glass and tacks so many objects to bust your tires the truck next to us got a metal piece stuck in his tire you could hear the air coming out poor fella couldn't even drop his metal off he had to leave to a tire shop I'm sure he didn't make it we got 4 tacks in our tire made 25 on a truck load had to pay 20 to fix our tire so 5 bucks and a inconvenience you would think they would have pride in there place and a clean area to drive threw I'd rather go an hour away and not worry about damages to our vehicle very disappointed

They will rip you off was there yesterday and had a lot of cans and some copper, he made me pull on the scale and it read 7100 pounds but on my ticket it said 7000 and they only gave me 20 cents a pound for wet cans, I know for a fact there was only 3 bags that had a little water in it, that don't give them any right to take 100 pounds of cans and 15 cents per pound from me that's just flat stealing money from people, very hateful people there I work my butt off so they could have my money, thanks

I have yet to go there but I am going on Monday so my review is based on what I e read in the reviews from local guides and from driving past the place on my way in to town. Hopefully the 5 stars holds up we will see. I really wanted to post and say thank you to the local guides on here for their detailed reviews , they make a big difference on how I choose when there are multiple options in the same area. If a review is from a local guide with a history of active or numerous reviews I can respect that and rely on it. I just have to be mindful of how old the review and take into account if the reviews stayed positive over time and then I know I can rely on accuracy because we don't get paid or rewarded for our reviews, theres no bias or incentive to sway our comments. Thanks to all you guides and keep up the good work. And to scrap daddy's I sure wish you were open on Saturdays lol but counting on a great experience Monday!
