Beautiful afternoon with Gorgeous river views and delicious food!! The Spicy Margaritas were fabulous and the Lone pine beer was nice and cold.
Live music was nice but the gentleman was hard to hear from the back of the patio by the water views.
We will definitely return to Schooner Landing!

Our hostess was very welcoming and explained the "ropes" for those that hadn't dined there before. Choose a table in the screened area next to an open window. The view was the best part of our dining experience. Ordered the clam roll and a dozen oysters. The clams were overdone and very crunchy. I really couldn't tell that they were whole belly, as they were too overdone. The oysters came on a tray of mostly melted ice/water. Their flavor was good, plump, and fresh. The only thing was that there were 11, not 12, and when paying $42.00 a dozen, we want a dozen. Our server asked how they were. Very good, I said, but there are only 11. She counted them, confirmed 11, and said she would bring us 2 more, which was very nice of her. She reappears moments later and tells us they counted them in the kitchen, and there were 12. I asked her to bring back the tray, she said it was dumped in the garbage, and we do not get another oyster. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOURIST TRAP!

The staff was so nice! The food was delicious and the atmosphere, and view were perfect! There was also a band, and dancing! Really awesome time!

Everything was great. Inside / outside dining. On a wharf. Water view. Very attentive service. Food was very good. Live music on certain days. Outside bar. Cool place.

Great vibe! Must go if you like outdoor venues to see music and eat and drink. Right on the water. Beautiful. Band was awesome and there's a small dance stage too! Friendly staff. The food was pretty good too. Got chicken nachos and they forgot to put the chicken on them and to bring us our sides but they quickly rectified it and brought us a whole new plate of nachos! No questions- all with a smile.

What a fun place to enjoy delicious seafood
with a one of a kind atmosphere!
The lobster roll was PACKED with meat from tail to claws. They do put lettuce on the roll and it’s your choice of butter or Mayo on the side. The buck a shuck oysters were delicious, my 10 year old tried her first ever oyster and is hooked. We danced, enjoyed the company of friends, ate and drank, and enjoyed the sounds and sights of the water.
We also ordered: quesadillas and fish and chips. Everything was delicious! Damariscotta is the perfect little town and Schooners Landing is a great way to experience it.

This place is awful. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Only good thing about it is the view. We waited for 45 minutes for our food and finally asked a server to check on it. He comes back and we see him walking around but he never updates us. We ask him again. It’s clear he completely forgot to ask and says he’ll ask the kitchen. He comes back and says we’re second in line to get our food - by this point we’re getting bitten by mosquitoes so we ask for it to go. Another 15 minutes go by and no sign of the server. Finally he comes out the food. Barely an apology and he gives us the bag. We get to our inn to eat and the food is absolutely some of the worst we’ve had in our lives. My seafood slider trio was disgusting, I couldn’t even finish it. Even the pickle seemed old. The lettuce on the sliders was old and rotten. The seafood had no flavor, the lobster seemed frozen and chopped. That’s not acceptable while being in Maine and looking to eat seafood. This place is so, so overpriced, service is bad and food is even worse. Sad this was our last dinner on our trip to Maine - thankfully every other dinner was great. I’m honestly unsure how people how eat the food here. Just go for drinks to look out over the water, but leave before the mosquitoes come out. We wasted time and money here.
