Used to love this location. USED to!
The new mgr is very unprofessional. I placed a same day pickup order at 3p, and here I am 2 n a half days later still waiting on it to be ready. While I called to express my frustration, I was repeatedly told I was hostile and rude and he kept cutting me off anytime I’d speak. He personally gave me his word that he would call when order was ready for pickup and he never did, then decided to blame others for his wrongdoings. At this point I may just cancel the order and go elsewhere. Unprofessional and definitely does not do well with customer service.

They are very friendly. Stopped by to pick up an order my wife placed online and had shipped to the store. The person who waited on me was nice and insisted on checking the package to ensure that nothing was missing. Good customer service.

We went back to school shopping here. The prices were affordable and the associates were very helpful and even suggested a cologne to him that he now loves. I'm sure we'll be back throughout the year and maybe again for school shopping next year.

This place allows one person in the changing room at a time... no exceptions. Not even for a mother and 4 year old daughter. This policy is insane. A parent should never be expected to leave their child outside of a changing room... clearly not the place for this mama.

The GPS takes you to the parking lot next to an outside store building which may be confusing to think that the store is also an outside building on its own, just like other stores located here but there are no signs of this store like there is of other stores. You actually have to walk into the mall to find rue21.

This was one of the most unprofessional stores I have encountered in a very long time! There was a group of what seemed to be untrained teenagers managing the store. I'm not sure if I happened to walk in at the wrong time; however, it was (July 6, 2019) Saturday! Clearly, it was social/gossip hour and that was their number one priority!

There was a group of 4-5 girls standing in a circle gossiping about another employee the entire time I was browsing for clothes. They were even on their phones sharing screenshots/Facebook posts from the employee (unknown) amongst each other, as well as, negatively making remarks about her appearance, her worth ethic, and her mental status (to say the least). They were laughing, making jokes, and degrading the employee (profanity and all) while I, and the entire store listened to the whole ordeal.

I gained all this information by browsing through clothes. I was uncomfortable, and embarrassed to have even witnessed such cruel, and unprofessional behavior from young women who are in a professional setting.

Meanwhile, the only professional young woman I witnessed in the entire store (tall, very respectful young lady) happened to overhear the commotion as well. She asked what they were talking about and one of the girls told her "get out of here, just go away!" (She obviously wasn't in with the gossip group.) Before she walked away one of the girls continued to say, "Ugh she's so annoying." Embarrassed, and humiliated the young worker walked away and returned to her register where she greated a customer who had a huge order. She smiled/talked while she tried to hold back her tears. I was appalled at this point so I grabbed the only two items I was focused enough to browse through and got in line.

I impatiently waited in line for a good 8 minutes (which wouldn't have been an issue for me if I didn't just witness all that I had) while those girls continued to have gossip hour still in their little circle. They were standing about 5-10 ft away from me. Not until I made eye contact with one of the girls in the group and rolled my eyes did she sway away from the group of bullies and ask me to her register to ring me up. Clearly, she knew I was annoyed as not one of us said a word.

Meanwhile, Ms. Obnoxious, the loudest one in the group, (she had two braids in her hair) continued to seek attention. This "worker" threw herself on the floor behind me! I glanced behind me and she claimed she fell as she laughed absurdly and continued to lay on the floor! Even as I grabbed my receipt and walked out she remained laughing on the floor!

The entire time I was in the store I felt as if I was witnessing high school girls during lunch hour. And, I work at a school! This was very disappointing to me because I drove 2 hours to visit "my favorite store" and instead I got a shitshow. I'm greatful my daughter was not with me during this huge fail of a shopping spree.

Hopefully, someone will better manage their scheduling or they will continue to lose a lot of business. I will never visit this location again. Very unfortunate!
