Llegamos por casualidad a este hotel, resulta que el fin de semana del 12 de Octubre es holiday en Maine y Masachusset asi que imposible conseguir habitacion y por un milagro conseguimos la ultima disponible en este hotel, nos enamoro es como estar en una capaula del tiempo todo es de epoca, pero muy bien conservado las habitaciones grandisimas el balo igual, esonsinla calefaccion estaba a la orden del dia en todas las areas del hotel , las vistas a su alfededor son hermosas los colores del otoño son impresionantes, el desayuno fue delicioso de seguro lo visitaremos de nuevo

Mi experiencia en principio fue muy agradable habitaciones cómodas, espacios grandes donde descansar y olvidarse de todo; pero el personal del bar que está ubicado junto a la recepción en especial una señora rubia nos hizo sentir muy mal por que éramos latinos nos discriminó por el hecho de estar sentados en las sillas de la recepción con una botella de jugo se nos acercó en varias ocasiones a mirarnos mal y decirnos que no podíamos estar allí, mientras a los demás huéspedes no les decía nada solo por el hecho de que somos latinos; personas así de racistas no deberían estar en atención al cliente

Our room was extremely small. The king bed took up 75% of the space. Bathroom was tiny as well. Quite outdated and far from quaint. Bed was comfortable.
Door to hallway was a hollow core closet style. When lights in room were out you could see the hallway lights through the frame, a little unsettling.
Price was right.

This was our 29th year staying at the Poland Spring Resort. Great times, great value. The resort has everything, golf course, huge swimming pool, shuffleboard, lawn bowling, tennis courts and delicious food. The buffet breakfasts are always wonderful. Rick’s Pub has a great happy hour where Brenda serves all your favorite beers, wine and cocktails. Impressive library and game room too. This place has it all !

I hesitated in sharing this review out of fear that other families will catch on to my incredible find!!! Every year my large family plans a staycation to celebrate a combination of Thanksgiving and Christmas. We host an enormous meal and require lots of space for togetherness (and opportunity to find peace and quiet). The Ricker House at Poland Spring Resort provided us with just that. The kids had so much safe space to play outdoors and we couldn't believe the level of cleaning that had been performed ahead of our arrival. The kitchen was stocked perfectly for our big meal and the cottage included every amenity you could possibly ask for and then some! The history of the resort is well-worth learning about before your arrival, and make sure you bring shoes that allow for you to explore the many acres of trails and open land. The views of Mt. Washington just don't even compare to any other place in Maine. We'll be back in the summer to make more use of all the great amenities the resort offers- swimming pool, golfing, pickleball and tennis and much more!

My daughter had a fall wedding at the Poland Springs Resort with the reception in the Water Museum. Jen and Cindi were the most gracious hosts. They made this very special day magical and memorable. Everything went smoothly, the venues were lovely, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was spectacular!

I had a great time during a 3 day stay in Sept at Poland Spring Resort with my fellow Volvo club enthusiasts. The facilities, food service, bar service and attractions were super. The docents at the Spring source water plant and the Maine State Building were extremely well informed and provided excellent historical narratives for these superbly restored and maintained buildings. The rooms in the Presidential Inn were authentic, clean, comfortable and felt like home. I especially enjoyed checking out all the artifacts in the Presidential Inn, very special - museum quality. |The chapel's stained glass windows historical chapel onsite was special too. I'll need to research who the artisan responsible for those!|During my stay, there also were many golfers taking advantage of the course, a pool, hiking trails to explore, an outdoor wedding (with a spectacular view of the landscape) and a country/rock band on one evening || I will make another trip to revisit and and absorb more history and relax, hike trails and ride bike.

If I could give more than 5 for service I would. All of the employees really care for the guests and are anxious to make sure you have an enjoyable time at Poland Springs.
The rooms are comfortable (we stayed at the main building) and you can always get a cup of coffee or tea anytime.
There are many activities in the grounds of Poland Springs resort and it is close to many attractions in the area.
The prices are great and a value for your money.
I highly recommend a visit to Poland Springs resort.
