Purchased a teak patio set from Laine. He was professional and very knowledgeable. Was so happy with working with him I ended up getting a fire pit also. Great place, great service and so happy with my set. 5 stars for sure

Do not and I’ll say it again, do not buy firewood from this place, the worst ever, wet, punky, muddy and asphalt in the load of wood. Calls at first were returned however, no follow up. I’ve been burning firewood for 40 years and this was by far the worst.

DO NOT BUY FIREWOOD FROM THIS BUSINESS.
We purchased 4 cords of wood from Patio & Flame. Before we paid for the wood we stopped by the store to check the quality of the wood. We were shown a pile of nice, dry, seasoned wood that met our needs so we ordered and paid for the wood. 2 cords were delivered the next day while we home. On the surface, the wood looked okay. I mentioned to the driver that we would not be home later that day for the delivery of the next two cords of wood. When we returned home, I found that the second load was full of saturated wood, slash, and un-burnable wood. I then dug into the first load and discovered that underneath the top layer was more saturated wood and slash. I immediately called the owner and complained. He assured me that he would "make it right" and arranged to meet me later that day - he never showed up. I called back. He said he would stop by that afternoon - he never showed up. This happened a third time. Each time he promised to "make it right" by either trading the wood, giving us more wood, or refunding some of our payment. He never did. Since then I have called and left a message 3 times with no response.
We have been heating with wood for over 30 years and we know firewood. This is, by far, the worst wood we have ever received while also being the most expensive.

Recently we stopped into Patio and Flame (Kittery Maine store) to look at outdoor table and chair sets. Laine, the owner greeted us and showed us several options. He was very pleasant, personable and knowledgeable about his products. We purchased a Royal Teak table and chairs that day and picked them up later in the week as planned. They look beautiful on our deck! We are delighted with our purchase. Many thanks to Laine for helping us through this process!thanks linda

We have been looking for quality outdoor furniture for several years, with no success. We happened to be in the NH/ME coastal area and saw Patio and Flame towards the end of the business day, so thought we’d give it one more go and just see what they had. What a wonderful surprise! Logan and Linda were a pleasure to work with, answering all our questions and showing us furniture that surpassed our expectations. It was an easy decision to go ahead and purchase a dining room set and living room furniture from the Royal Teak line. They stayed well after closing to ensure we had all of the right pieces, and Logan loaded everything amazingly well into the back of our truck so we could drive away to Vermont with all of our purchases ready to go when we arrived home. The quality of the wood, hardware, design and construction is excellent. We’re thrilled that we have been able to make a wise and reasonable investment in furniture that will last and look great for years to come! We highly recommend Patio and Flame, and will be returning in the future to fill out our outdoor living rooms.

STAY AWAY!! After I posted my original review (below), the owner - Lane - responded: "I've been calling this customer since Wednesday with no return phone call." He called ONCE on Saturday with 6 second message. I did receive furniture as I wrote in my original review but missing pieces. Deal with him if you believe in fairy tales. Also, check Yelp for more REAL reviews.

I’ve been trying for a year to get the 2 swivel chairs I ordered and was promised. The owner Lane never calls back. His recent promise was “I’ll put them in my car after I close on Tuesday. No problem.” Of course he never showed up and did not respond to my 2 calls that day asking his ETA. During the year I’ve stopped by and called numerous times.

As I read reviews on Yelp, I realize I was lucky to get the table and 6 chairs June 2021!!!! I’ve never dealt with anyone like him in my life … yes, this review is about the store on Rt 1 Kittery with the lawn full of furniture.

Please don’t buy anything there! Check real reviews on YELP! These people use deceptive sales practices starting with Lane Chase. We bought a $3,000 couch and he explicitly told us in store that if we were not satisfied we could return the item. The couch was delivered today and it’s absolutely filthy and one piece looks like it was a returned item. Now I am being told by customer service and the so called store manager that there’s no refund possible at all. I have never in my life heard from any furniture store that something is not refundable. Their solution is to send a technician out to "assess" the couch a month after it was delivered. Overall a horrible company to deal with that does not stand behind their product.

Second time I''ve gone to the Kittery location and got exactly what I wanted. Lane was so helpful and delivered quickly so we could start enjoying the furniture. Highly recommend!
