This was the first time I've gotten to stay here since the new renovation. The staff is fantastic. The coffee is wonderful. The selection downstairs at the bar is excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and fun to talk with and they are extremely knowledgeable of the area. They allowed me to use a small conference room for client meetings. It enhanced my business meetings. It was relaxing place to stay and get recharged in anticipation of the next day of hard work. My favorite Memphis hotel.

Our recent stay at Moxy Memphis Downtown had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the location is fantastic—right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore the city. However, the rooms are quite small, which is something to keep in mind, especially if you’re traveling with a family. Also, it’s worth noting that the showers have glass walls, so be aware if privacy is a concern.

Unfortunately, our experience was significantly impacted by an issue with a barking dog. For over two hours, we endured constant barking. Despite calling the front desk twice, we were told there was nothing they could do since the dog's owner wasn’t present. It’s frustrating that they didn’t have a system in place to contact the guest and resolve the situation. After three hours and another trip to the front desk at 10:30 PM, we were finally moved to another floor. While we appreciated the relocation, it was inconvenient to move all our belongings and children late at night, especially with the initial reluctance from the staff.

Overall, the great location and trendy vibe couldn’t fully outweigh the inconveniences we experienced. Better handling of noise complaints and improved customer service would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience.

The vibe at the Moxy is really unique: pinball machines in the lobby, eclectic and colorful decor, a bar at the check-in desk. The rooms are awesome, really great decor - small as you would expect in a city but the furnishings really maximize the space. The beds are comfortable. I knocked it down one star because as a light sleeper, it was a rough night. Let me clarify, my husband and my son slept great - they can sleep through anything - if you're a deep sleeper, then 10/10 stay here. If you're a light sleeper, I feel like with some preparation you can make this work: a good eye mask (I felt like the room didn't get dark enough) and a good set of ear plugs (the hotel obviously knows that noise is an issue, there is a bucket of earplugs in every elevator vestibule - the ear plugs were okay and incredibly appreciated, but you could probably source a more effective pair). I was awoken at 1am to what sounded like talking and again at 5am. Overall, great property to stay at.

I celebrated a friend’s bday here and it was fantastic. To start, it’s within walking distance or a short uber ride to so much. The service was awesome, especially Conner and his valet team. My friends and I felt safe and every one was welcoming. I hear thy have a fun puppy-pride parade during pride month that’s pretty dope, too.

Such an amazing stay!! Really enjoyed Avery the bartender at the bar downstairs!! She made my experience super amazing and I had a great time chatting with her. Rooms were great and location was amazing!
