Valarie and Gary are the best!

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was spectacular. Common areas are super cozy with great amenities, from nfl Sunday ticket to Gary’s perfect fires.

Fantastic bar/restaurant on the premises as well, had karaoke our first night there which might have been the highlight of the trip.

Overall this place is simply run by some of the kindest and most hard working people out there. A+ stay!

My friend and I (both 25y/o female) stayed one night here for our Sugarloaf ski trip and it did not disappoint! Val was an excellent host. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom with two twin beds and the mattresses were very comfy, and the comforters were soft and fluffy - I had a great night's sleep after a long day of skiing! We visited the Silly Goose, their restaurant just behind the bnb, which was convenient and delicious. Val made us a nice breakfast the following morning at a time of our choosing, and we chatted for a while over coffee, and got to meet her very friendly dogs! Overall this was a wonderful experience, and if I ever book another ski trip at Sufarloaf, I know where I'll be staying! Thanks, Val!

We go out of our way for non kid friendly accommodations so that will always be a win.

Feels like home from the cozy decor homemade breakfast and animals galore. Guests are invited to explore the beautiful property and there is a restaurant/bar on property

Here for a wedding but would definitely come for a relaxation trip.

Valarie was very helpful and personable

DO NOT STAY HERE! The photos online make it look amazing, and the reviews are promising. Don’t be fooled!! I never leave reviews but I feel obligated to save people from having the same horrible experience that we did. I urge you to read this through before deciding to stay here. ||The condition of this house was far from good, but the main reason our stay was so rough was because Valerie the woman that that runs this place is rude and scary, and because the lack of privacy was unacceptable. I’m not kidding, we considered leaving and driving three hours home (at night) because of how uncomfortable we felt here. ||After we checked in and Valerie left, my boyfriend called her to ask if we were permitted to use the fireplace. With the most irritated tone, she blurted that someone would be coming over to light the fire for us. My boyfriend offered to start the fire - we didn’t want someone coming over while we were in our pajamas on the couch and would have opted to skip the fire if we couldn’t do it ourselves. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to explain this, since she cut him off in the middle of his sentence and screamed (SCREAMED) at him that someone would be coming over and then angrily hung up the phone on us. We both sat there in awe - I started talking about how scared I was only to realize moments later that my conversation was also being heard by a random guy who came through the kitchen door. That’s when we learned that their own living space is connected to this unit by a cracked door in the kitchen. They can see through and hear everything you are saying. This man kept coming into the living room unannounced to “check on us.” What the heck? ||At night, while we were upstairs, we heard someone downstairs and I got scared, so I peeked my head out of the bedroom and saw Valerie walking around - just felt so weird and we heard her going through our bag of food we left on the table. ||Valerie yelled at my boyfriend for not telling her that I had a food allergy for breakfast - even after he told her we would be eating elsewhere by choice. She also made him feel guilty when he told her we had plans to go to dinner in town, and tried to tell him to go to her "Silly Goose" restaurant that she runs next door instead. ||The shower is shaped like a triangle and nowhere close to being code. My boyfriend had to fold himself in half just to wash off after a day of skiing. I had to duck to fit and I’m 5’4! To make matters worse, the shower head is broken and the sink doesn’t drain. ||The grandfather clock goes off with this terrifying tune several times throughout every hour and there are these creepy, faded, lit up, Micky Mouse shaped posts on the front steps.....This place is out of a horror movie. ||If you made it this far in the review I hope I convinced you not to stay here!!! There are other spots in the area with comparable prices that are run by accommodating and kind people.

The location of this adorable little farmhouse B&B is amazing. Surrounded by trees in the midst of changing color and a short drive away from the mountains, it was definitely a different view from the desert I'm used to. The owner was welcoming and very responsive, even when I had to text late at night to get the code to the door that I forgot. Breakfast was great every morning, and her recommendations for places to see and things to do were spot on and we got a lot of great pictures and experiences.

The house is on a farm and it is an old house. It is creaky, sometimes noisy, and the clock downstairs seems to chime whenever it wants. That's all explained though, so we knew what we were getting into from the beginning. It didn't bother us at all and the environment was actually increased because of these things. I loved watching the geese wander around in the morning.

Overall it was a great stay. I would definitely come back again. Thanks for having us!

I truly had a wonderful time at this beautiful bed and breakfast! My partner and I were in town for a wedding and the B&B was the best part for me! As I was traveling 4 hours with a wedding cake I made the day before the trip - stress was my constant emotion! Despite having to check in later in the evening, Valerie and her daughter were so kind and welcoming! We got food at the Silly Goose onsite and let me tell you that pizza is amazing! The staff was so fun to talk with and it felt like you had known them forever! The bedroom was gorgeous and the views from out the window were breathtaking! I am absolutely obsessed with the highland cow decor and very cozy shared living space for guests! The breakfast was incredible! Everything was so fresh! We got to have a great talk with the hosts and meet their doggos while listening to ghostbusters and other Halloween throwbacks - truly my perfect morning! I can’t wait to visit again! Thank you for everything!

Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good. Goose will attempt to guard the door and dogs will bark with any noise.
Kids NOT welcome. Even though host Valarie "allowed" my 9 year old son to stay, she admonished him for looking for a bottle of water in the guest coffee/tea area. She is NOT a kid person. I slept poorly the first night in the downstairs bedroom, which was above the furnace that sounded like a rocket each time it turned on, and the next morning I asked to move to the upstairs room. Obviously, I stated that we would pay the higher rate, but she was none too pleased saying that she would have to make up that room and now would have 3 rooms to clean vs two, but begrudgingly said she would do it. After that, she just appeared annoyed to see us and didn't initiate a good bye or even a thanks for staying. If you want a warm, noncomplaining host, AVOID this place completely. Your money is spent better someplace else!

Stayed one night in their bunk room so we could get 2 days of skiing at Sugarloaf. It was clean and got the job done for a skiing focused visit. Beds and a clean bathroom. Host was very nice and the breakfast was good. Old style heating system meant that it was kind of hot in the room but we were too tired after skiing and apres to care.
