We went to Mornings in Paris based on a recommendation, and since we were in Kennebunk for breakfast, we decided to head there for French crepes. We got in line, picked out our flavors from the sign above the register, and when we went to order, were told that unfortunately they weren’t doing crepes that day. We were very disappointed and wished we had gone to the Ogunquit location, where we passed a sign that said they do crepes daily. We settled for a quick apple cider drink and chocolate croissant. We can’t say we were overly impressed by the croissant, and in fact ended up at a true authentic French bakery shortly after, which put in perspective how lack luster this one really was. I liked the seating style at Mornings in Paris outside, and was happy to find a free parking lot here. However, I don’t see ourselves returning on future visits to the area.

I had read previous reviews and was excited to try but ended up disappointed. The pastry case looked extremely dried out and old, unorganized. We went to the front to order crepes like advertised and the employee said she didn't know if they were willing to make them at that time. We ordered two drinks that were made incorrectly, the crepes ended up being made which were good but the seating area was pretty dirty. Bummed out due to previously read reviews that were positive.

I love everything about this Parisian Cafe located in Kennebunkport Maine! They have a wonderful selection of coffee, tea and specialty drinks plus their bakery items are so delicious! They also have the crepery next door that makes the BEST crepes this side of the Atlantic! The staff is also very friendly and they always accommodate for my service dog and even give him his own special pup cup when we visit 🙂 They also offer Paris themed and local items to purchase and have a cozy indoor and outdoor sitting area. I really love it and always make it part of my daily routine when visiting.

Love Mornings in Paris…have been going there for years and usually a great experience. Yesterday purchased a tomato basil quiche to have for breakfast today…wasn’t impressed with saltiness or flavor. Realized as I saw crust that it was moldy on the bottom. Plastic container had a red dot on it? Perhaps it was outdated?

MIP not only doesn't accept cash, they're also incredibly rude when you voice your disappointment about it. I went to purchase several items to bring to a meeting and after pulling out my cash I was told, "we don't take cash." I said in a low and respectful tone, "Well that's disappointing. I probably won't be returning, then." I paid with my debit card and when the tip screen popped up I started to lift my hand to leave a tip and the man behind the counter quickly whipped the screen around so I couldn't do so. I asked if I could leave a tip and he looked at me and said with a snarky tone, "it's ok. You don't have to." Then he walked away to pour my coffee. So I took out four one dollar bills figuring they wouldn't mind a tip in cash but nope. They wouldn't even accept that. The young lady who stepped up to the counter acted like I was trying to tip her with a cup of dog feces. And after all that, everything I purchased was lackluster at best. Certainly nothing like the coffee or pastries I get when I'm in Paris. I suppose that made my decision to not return much easier. I've owned and still own several businesses and will never understand how any business owner would think that not accepting cash is a smart idea. What a shame.

Morning 🌄 can be very busy! I was short on time so I had to leave the line. Pastries looked so good. So many choices for coffee ☕ and tea 🍵!
I came back 🔙 for lunch because the Jazzy Peach 🍑 Tea, served lemonade style, with peach 🍑 coffee syrup sounded good 👍! It is! No small size available. I had a chicken 🐔 salad croissant 🥐 with almonds and cranberries. Needs more filling, but, the croissant wasn't hard or tough. Good texture!
Window and outdoor seating, WiFi and gifts available. AC inside. Friendly service. Cashless payment only. Touchless payment available.
I recommend a visit!

I arrived just before they stopped making crepes at 1:00, and was able to score a turkey and brie crepe (further recommended by the staff,) along with some onion soup, which is served with oyster crackers. I had originally planned for a brunch crepe, but they were out of eggs - they were honest and reassuring about this, and it’s technically on me for arriving so late. The onion soup was hot and full of caramelized onions, as French onion soup is supposed to be. The crepe was good, especially the balsamic glaze, but some of the turkey was sort of rigid and chewy, so it loses points for that. However, the highlight of my lunch was dessert: the macarons. All were the perfect mix of chewy and fluffy, ESPECIALLY the creme brulee one, whose icing was caramelly and delightfully chewy. The birthday cake one comes in second place for the richness of its icing and the addition of sprinkles. All in all, as someone who doesn’t drink coffee, I’d say this is a decent place to visit for the food. Just come for brunch at an earlier hour than I did.
