If you are looking for a Moose Tour this is it. Harold is extremely knowledgeable and knows his Moose. He is very protective of the them and does NOT put them in harms way. During our tour we saw 8 moose! We were able to watch a Mom and her calf walk straight towards us and feed next to the vehicle. Truly a magical moment.
You will not be disappointed when booking this tour.

Harold was great: very knowledgeable and passionate about moose & all wildlife. He knows the best spots to check out based on the weather that day, time of year, etc. We had a fantastic morning and saw 14! Exceeded our expectations.

Highly recommend! We were so happy we chose to book with Harold! He was very passionate about fishing and moose! We caught seven fish and saw seven moose! He was very knowledgeable about the area as well. Definitely book with him if you want to catch fish and see moose!! He also filleted our fish perfectly as well right after our trip. This day with Harold was our favorite day of our vacation! Definitely book your trip! Oh! We also saw chipmunks, a beaver, loons, squirrels, a tree frog, and a hawk carrying a mouse!! Don't miss out!

We had a great time fishing & looking for moose for our 3rd year with Moosehead Area Guide Service! It was cold & windy when we were fishing, but Harold made the most of it. We also saw a few moose on the tour, including getting to spend time watching one eating at a pond. The knowledge we get spending time out in the woods with Harold adds to our excitement to continue learning. His passion is contagious. We will definitely be back for year 4!

Harold was an excellent guide. He knew the ins and outs of Moosehead Lake. The guide service is the best in the area. Fishing was not the best it could be but there is always the chance of big fish while on the boat with Harold. We had an amazing trip and would highly recommend. We all learned so much on the day trip.

Harold is the man. My friends flew into New England from Texas and Georgia. I had booked this trip with Moosehead Lake Area Guide Services and it did not disappoint. Harold had us on the lake trout in no time and we had a day. After the trip he gave us tips on how to fry up the trout and it came out sooo good. I would definitely recommend and plan on coming back in the future

What an amazing tour!! Amber was such a joy and so knowledgeable on not only where to find moose but life of moose and conservation in Maine. We saw 8 moose (including 2 bulls and a baby). Highly recommend their service!

We did the moose and fishing tour with this company… Our initial interaction and scheduling with Amber was fabulous. Due to the beauty of the Greenville area and Moosehead Lake, the tour itself was also beautiful. The tour experience/content, led by Harold, left something to be desired. I would not recommend doing a tour with Harold if you have children. He has little patience and positive interaction. Our kids were SO excited to see moose and go fishing and Harold set a negative tone. Luckily they didn’t notice the impatience as much as we did, with the barking orders and lack of pleasantries/friendliness. I never write reviews but felt inclined to share our experience if you are thinking about this with young children (Ours are 7, 6 and 4 and well behaved!)We will say they he is very knowledgeable about the area but ultimately we would prefer a positive interaction to that.
