Mabel's House was a wonderful surprise for our weekend wedding stay. Our room, a corner room with a balcony, was light, airy, clean, comfortable, and delightful. There was room for us to hang our clothes as well as store things in a dresser. We had a mini fridge and sink which we took advantage of for picnic lunches-and for storing the items we purchased right next door at a market. Christine, the woman on duty at the front, was terrific! She was accommodating, helpful, cheerful, resourceful, and really welcoming. The breakfasts did the job; a sweet baked good + yogurt and fresh fruit, and the coffee was good enough. The location was perfect-close enough to walk into the busy part of Kennebunkport while being really quiet after hours. We could walk to the Church and then the wedding venue, a plus for us. We would totally return to Mabel's House next time. And thank you Christine.

Maine - The Way Life Should Be at Mabel’s House

This is the second year we have stayed at this property. It's located in a quiet section of town. The rooms are well-maintained, clean and comfortable.
A continental breakfast is served every morning. Every staff member is gracious, friendly, and helpful. Bikes and kayaks are available for guests. Parking is convenient. You can't beat the view of the water. An added plus is walking to lunch or dinner next door at Mabel's Lobster. Be sure to make a reservation. Best kept secret. Great for couples, singles, and families.

Beautiful hotel - great location with just a short drive to downtown KPT - and the cutest room. Very clean - comfy bed and loved sleeping with the windows open. Continental breakfast in a bag along with the juice and coffee made for a good start to the day. Perfect getaway! Don’t forget to eat nextdoor at Mabel’s restaurant.

Lovely, peaceful and really good bed. Felt very safe on mother & daughter get-a-way. I would not recommend for handicap or young family unless you rented the adjacent cabin. Charming room but Bass Head 47 would have been too tight for a pack-n-play.|Close walk to the beach around the corner, finer dining and access to bikes or walk into town (about 30 min)

Charming and extremely clean hotel in a quiet part of Kennebunkport on an estuary. Free bikes and kayaks to use. Room 50 is a gem! -great corner room with windows and deck with chairs overlooking the estuary. Thank you to our gracious hosts!!

my friends and i stayed here last week to kick off the summer in kennebunkport, so lovely ! they give fresh fruit and yummy muffins for breakfast, the rooms were very clean and the inn itself is so cute, the staff was also sweet and attentive.

they provide bikes and canoes, so we biked into the town square to explore. i plan on returning later this summer 💗

We stayed in Room 42 on the main level. It had a comfortable king bed and was in a quiet spot in the back of the house. There was a big TV, small refrigerator and an a/c unit in the wall. The Staff was really pleasant and the property was in a central location for us. Definitely a nice stay in Kennebunkport.

Nice quaint little place to stay. Near Colony Beach in a peaceful part of town. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful, nice little breakfasts ready for us each morning with fresh made coffee. Next the Mabel's Lobster Claw, a must place to eat!
