We live 45 minutes away, in Portland--- an hour and a half if we're taking the scenic route. Portland has some fantastic options for vegan donuts and other sweets, but I'm literally always going to prefer Lovebirds. I was not a "donut person" until I had these. And I wasn't even vegan then! A few years later, they're frequently the culinary high point of my month. I tell everyone I've ever met about this place. Plus the coffee and teas they come up with are thoughtful, creative, and delicious!

I first went to Lovebirds on Mother's Day 2019, they were giving grapefruit donuts to moms! Since then, I've had an innumerable amount of donuts. They. Have. Brought. Joy. Lovebirds has become the main way my partner and I celebrate any occasion including a regular Saturday. I typically go for the classics, though the menu changing monthly is so fun. One of the things we like most about this business is how well they treat their staff, the low turnover rate throughout the years is noticed, and we feel good supporting a business that aligns with our values of kindness and yummy food

5 stars because i love cakey donuts!! lol

These reminded my of the Holy Donuts in Portland although they are not exactly the same of course. (I’ll leave the comparison to you my dearest reader).

We came in around 9:30am on a sunday and there were already early birds there (not just lovebirds ha!). I got their chocolate coconut and that would be my favorite! nice chocolate dough and a good balance of shredded coconut coating. The Apple cider was good too and surprising the original! Im never an “original” donut fan but the hubster wanted to try. It was soft but had some crisp to it and wasnt so bland so I appreciated that. Staff who took our order was nice and pleasant which made for a good day. Inside was spacious too and there was good parking space.

There wasnt really a ton of flavor though but enough to enjoy a dozen or half and enough that I would actually miss having them again!

BLOWN AWAY BY THIS PLACE 💕🍩✨ just blownnnnn away!! Lovebirds has been on my bucket list for awhile after hearing they make some of the BEST vegan donuts! 🌈 Well… I finally visited & it was worth allll the hype! Super adorable storefront making some of the most creative, delicious & amazing vegan donuts I’ve ever come across! We shared a 6 pack & every flavor was amazing! All of their donuts are made fresh daily & it shows. Loved all their variety to pick from.

The strawberry creme was simply the BEST vegan donut I’ve had in my entire life. The donut itself was amazing but the vegan cream was just perfect! Runner up was the birthday cake- super dense, moist cake texture with the perfect flavor. My friend got the s’mores & said it was one of the best donuts she’s had (and she’s not even vegan)

They also have adorable merch to grab while in there. If you like donuts, a good vibe & amazing donut creations full of love & passion - come here! Vegan or not, these are amazing & worth getting. Such fun decor & vibe here with sweet delicious all vegan donuts.🍩✨🌈

One of those local must stops. We ordered 4 donuts (pumpkin cream cheese, death by chocolate, maple smoked coconut, and cinnamon sugar). All were winners! Excellent love buzz with oat milk coffee and a hot pumpkin spice latte. Friendly helpful service from Moe! Next time, we'll stop in earlier because they understandably do sell out.

I’ve been going to Lovebirds since it first opened, and they always manage to impress me with their ever changing menu. I have too many favorite donuts to name them all, but anything with maple glaze is always a winner for me. Their drinks are great too, and I love that oat is the default.

I love going to Lovebird Donuts. The donuts (and coffee!) are incredible, the staff is very warm and friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I live in Seattle where there are quite a few vegan donut options and these are easily the best donuts I have ever had! Come here every time I visit family in NH and it is worth the drive. My favorite donut here is the Boston Cream.
