Think twice about moving here. The Legacy is complete garbage and the office staff is a joke. Please do not spend your hard earned money at this place.
They literally DO NOT care if your apartment has black mold growing or if you have a leak in your apartment. It took them weeks to get to my apartment knowing I had a leak. The solution... they sucked up MOST of the water and turned the AC off. The laundry room continued to slowly leak and I just had enough and moved out.

I have lived here a year and it was the best decision. The office staff friendly and always has something going on like contests and things for the residents to do. The Maintenace crew is finally at its best. Jake and Joe are the best. Always professional and prompt. A valuable asset to this complex. Keep up the good work

They're nice on the outside but I think they're way too expensive for what they offer and it seems like the appliances ain't even up-to-date you would think a place that's expensive like that everything inside would be expensive

I love living here! I’ve been living here for 4 years and it’s been nothing but great things! My apartment is so spacious, and beautiful! The maintenance team is always there when you need them. They fix everything right the first time! And the staff is very attentive, professional and nice! I wouldn’t live in any other apartments in Texarkana!

I moved in this past March… a week after moving in I noticed black mold growing in the walls. Complained complained and complained and they said they came out and fixed it. When they only pained over it. We lived with black mold since we moved in. Ended up breaking our lease since they failed to fix the problem. I have 4 kids and they nor did I need to be breathing in that mold. We left in August. I had called and talked to office staff explaining that I will have everything out that Friday. I got an email the SAME night I spoke with the office about how I had to have my stuff off that night because THEY ALREADY LEASED THE APARTMENT!!! yes they leased an apartment that had black mold growing in the walls, again without fixing it! They were aware of the issue and neglected to fix the problem. They are so stuck on making money that they are putting their tenants health at risk without a care in the world. We are not the only one who has been faced with the same issue at the legacy, some have even had ac issues for a year and was still not fixed. For 1,400 a month you would think you would be living in a decent apartment but not at the legacy.

Been to several apartments around Texarkana and so far the staff seems the friendliest and most down to earth and I loved the size of the apartment I was shown.The place is a little older than a lot of the places I’ve looked but seems well maintained. I plan to return when Im ready to make a permanent move later this summer

So far my wife and I have loved living here. (been here about a month) The office staff is very friendly and helpful, and the maintenance team is quick and efficient. On my first night living here there were several vehicles robbed including my own. I lost several valuable items. I believe this robbery was due to the fact that there are 5 security lights out in that area, so I would really liked this fixed. I brought it up to the office staff but the lights have yet to be fixed so the area is VERY dark, and it doesn't help that our apartment is in the back facing the woods. Other than that everything has been pretty good so far! I haven't really experienced any issues with thin walls. The floor shakes when the downstairs neighbors close their front door but that doesn't bother us too much. The price for our home is really wonderful for what we get and where we live. The reason the review isn't 5 stars is because of the lack of action on the security lights (I prefer to feel safe and comfortable in my home and with my property and I do not when the parking lot is pitch black) and the fact that the trash is very inconvenient. If you live far away from the front entrance you have to load up your stinking trash into your personal vehicle and drive it to the front dumpster. Those two things aside this community is very quiet and an overall nice place to live.
