Ir was a perfect place in one of the most beautifull Places in the world. The inn was beautifull, clean and neat. We wanted to relax with no worries. Comfy bed, pretty room, friendly staff.|We had dinner at the restaurant, very good with reasonable prices our waitress has obviously worked there for years. She, the waitress, was amazing so fast yet very friendly. The continental breakfast was very nice in a comfy, casual, & quaint room.|Everything is so pretty. |Our only issue was waking to a room with no heat in March & no hot water; they did offer to discount our room. Glad we weren't desperate for a shower or set on lounging in our room with coffee.

We had a lovely couple of nights in the inn. On arrival we were kindly upgraded to a river king room which was a lovely surprise. The inn had great staff at the bar and in the restaurant. The food was delicious in the evening (we dined in the ski gondola which was great fun) and the breakfast was ample and more than we expected too.

My family stayed here right before Christmas. The hotel lobby, restaurant/bar, and common areas are all great and were beautifully decorated — the restaurant draws a large crowd around the holidays. The location can’t be beat and the on site parking is plentiful and convenient. However, the experience as a hotel guest was not as enjoyable. We were on the third floor in a double room (what I believe is the only double) which was incredibly outdated and dirty. There were only two chairs and no desk, table, luggage rack, etc. for four people and their belongings. In the evenings we found ourselves lounging in the hotel’s common spaces as there was no space for us to sit together in the room. A bit awkward. As others have said, the “continental breakfast” is minimal but was not a deal breaker for us. Overall, we had a great trip in Kennebunkport and at the Inn, but our room experience put a damper on things since our trip was for 3 nights. I believe some of the rooms in the Inn have been remodeled, but photos on the website are misleading. Also be mindful that there are no elevators.

So happy we stayed at the Kennebunkport Inn while attending the New Year’s Eve Party at the Boat House!! We received a good rate considering we made a last minute reservation. The room was perfect for our evening out to bring in the New Year. The Inn is Beautifully Decorated in Christmas Decorations and there is a large patio with fire pits and Adirondack chairs surrounded by fresh Christmas Trees, white lights and a lovely rock fireplace!! The restaurant located inside the Inn was elegant and glammed up for the holidays!!
We will definitely return and highly recommend!!

This was a really nice hotel. The room wasn’t very big but it is an old inn. Still it was very comfortable. The staff was very nice. They also had a complimentary continental breakfast that was better than we expected. You can’t beat the location - it is right in Dock Sqare.

This used to be a Grand Damn of the older classic Maine resorts. What Happened? The hotel is dirty (we have pictures if you would like to see them). We paid over $1000 for two nights in October for a room with no chairs, no table or desk, no luggage racks and two AC units with 4 thermostats!!! Go figure that one out, we couldn't. Maybe if a staff member had checked us in and showed us to the room, as in most first calls hotels, they could have explained it to us. Resort Fee - for what?
The continental breakfast was a joke. Stale food served on paper plates and cheap plastic cutlery. Most roadside motels do better.
It is a shame what this Inn has turned into. I remember the good old days. Never again will we stay here!!!! Our worst experience in two weeks of travel in Maine.

From the outside, you'll see beauty and a fine place. Inside, was just OK. Our room was too small. The door stuck. The breakfast was less than adequate. Most staff was professional and efficient. However, as we were carrying our luggage up the stairs (no elevator which is pretty normal for this type of location) to the third floor, a young man on staff did not ask if needed any help. Ate dinner here and it was good.
