Jones uses gotcha tactics to sell plots with inaccurate descriptions of the location of the plots. Their lack of concern caused my family unnecessary hardship and grief. If you want compassionate service, go elsewhere.

This funeral home's deceit shattered our trust. They misled my grieving family, burying my beloved parent in the wrong place, betraying their promises. Claiming sold plots and offering a dubious explanation about map squares, their heartless actions during our family's darkest hour are unforgivable. Avoid this dishonest establishment at all costs.

Our family is extremely upset with the placement of our loved ones gravesite. We wanted our family member buried right beside our parents and we were told upon purchasing (and shown on a map) that he would indeed be buried in that spot. After the funeral was finished, we realized that our loved one was not buried right by our parents as promised, but 2-3 rows over. When we called to complain, we were told that when a plot is chosen that each little square on the grid actually represents 12 graves, so you don't know where the grave will end up within the group. Of course, we weren't told this upon sale. We consider this practice unsavory and misleading and would not recommend this company.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with Jones Funeral Home. Our family member was not buried where we were led to believe they would be. During the sale of the plot, a map with a grid on it was shown, and by the looks of that grid, my uncle would have been buried right next to my grandparents. When the day of the funeral came, it turned out to be several rows over. When we called to complain, my aunt was told that each section of the grid was actually a collection of 12 plots each, instead of individual plots next to each other. This was not emphasized or mentioned during the sale, and we were led to believe we got a plot for my uncle right next to my grandparents, when in reality he was buried several plots over in the adjacent “grid section.” This misinformation during the sale caused much hardship and sadness on a day that was already devastating.

Regrettably, Jones Funeral Home's actions inflicted additional pain on my family, burying our loved one in the wrong grave and misleading us about plot details. Such behavior is utterly distressing. I strongly advise considering alternative services for your beloved departed.
