I checked out of room 701 on the morning of February 28 and soon realized I had lost one of my earrings in my room. When I approached the front desk for assistance, the staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive. She showed little interest in my concern and informed me that I would have to wait for housekeeping to check later. I took initiative and asked to leave my contact information and she handed me a piece of scrap paper without asking for any details about the lost item, which gave me little confidence that my request would be taken seriously.

Later that morning, I called the hotel to follow up and reached the same staff member. She responded with an impatient tone, saying she was already aware of the situation and that housekeeping had cleaned the room but found nothing—this was only about 1.5 hours after I checked out. I politely requested that they check the desk chair again and was told she would see if that was possible. However, I never received a follow-up call.

When I called again in the afternoon, a different staff member (who was much more helpful and kind) took down my contact information again (which raised concerns about what happened to the details I had already provided). She advised me to call back in the morning as housekeeping had left for the day. I attempted to contact housekeeping three times yesterday but each time i was transferred, nobody picked up. I once again left my information with another receptionist over the phone who said i would receive a call back. Still nothing. I am just feeling hopeless with the lack of follow up and the seeming lack of care.

I expect better service and professionalism from Hilton, and this experience has been disappointing. I would appreciate a proper follow-up on my lost earring and some clarity without me having to chase for an update.

I must say we were here for 2 weeks on a business trip. We were told that our rooms were to be cleaned every 2 days. That did not happen. We complained multiple times and did not fix the issue. We were given free drinks at the bar each time instead of addressing and fixing the issue. We floor smelled like sewage at time and like someone was smoking Marijuana most days. The rooms were not swept or vacuumed the entire time we were there. There were stains in the bathroom walls. Water got on the floor after showers. The refrigerator did not close correctly and froze solid inside with ice. My food and drinks froze In there. Trash cans were full for days at a time. We paid a lot of money for 13 rooms and our service should have been better in my opinion. They had 1 washer that worked in the hotel, and when we went down to use it they had no quarters to give us for the machines. Beds in my room had what appeared to be pee stains and big ones too. Staff were professional and helpful. Do better Hilton garden inn Memphis downtown.

Specifically picked this hotel for location and access to forum. Arrived at 4:30pm to the longest line I have stood in at a hotel. After a 30 minute wait in line, I attempted to check in and was told my room wasn't ready. I wasn't surprised as most people in front of me rooms were not ready. Dinner before the game has been cancelled because we are trying to get to the game early.

Hilton you can do way better for your guests and employees. Thanks to the lone employee at the front desk trying.

What a beautiful and modern hotel! I’m here for a few days to see a new client and this is my first stay at this property.

The manager , Felicia , was very accommodating and friendly! A true standard bearer when it comes to customer service!
The hotel is new and modern with a nice lobby bar and reception area!
You’ll need your keycard to access the elevator , hotel entrances ,and your room , which is a nice security measure!
The room I had was spacious, clean with a very comfortable king bed. I did request when I made my reservation, for housekeeping to refresh my room every day during my stay. I’ll provide an update after this visit.

Felicia the manager greeted us with a big warm smile, Room we booked wasn’t ready for check in. But she upgraded our room without question stay was very nice & the view was very nice ! Beautiful Hotel ! Inside & Out ! Oh Did I Mention They Have Secure Parking ?! 🥰 & Its Not Far From Beale St The Main Attraction Of Downtown ☺️

Subject: Hotel stay nightmare

Hello, I have called numerous times and have filed a complaint when we stayed and yet I have still to hear from the manager of your property. We stay at your hotel back during the thanksgiving weekend for my husbands birthday and it was a nightmare. No staff upon arrival and very unprepared. We get to our room and the water was running, the beds were stripped and it had not even been cleaned. I immediately call the front desk and there was not an available room besides queen beds. Which was a downgrades and my husband and I couldn’t even sleep together. It was unpleasant and uncomfortable. The staff acted like it wasn’t there problem. The next morning after moving the first time I told them again I wanted the original room I booked. A king bed. So at least we got it one late that afternoon so we had to switch beds again. I am a Hilton member and I was so upset and still am because the lack of communication and no one from your location calling me back to address. I have attached photos of the room to show you how unpleasant it was. I want something done about this.
