I had such a fantastic experience here. Physically emotionally and spiritually. The location and scenery is beautiful. They serve you 4 meals a day of amazing light fueling food that carries you through the day. The accommodations are wonderful and I appreciate the climate control that can suit anyone’s needs. Their yoga space is beautiful and bright and they give you everything that you need. Matt makes some amazing craft cocktails sure to enhance anyone’s experience. I would recommend to anyone looking to disconnect and restore!

I had the most amazing weekend at Santosha and would recommend it to anyone interested in yoga/wellness or just a relaxing weekend in a beautiful environment. The experience is truly customizable to your wants and needs.||I booked the reservation on their website and got a response back within a couple hours. Before we even arrived I noticed how responsive the team is to requests and questions. I pre-booked massage services in advance as well but it seems they can usually accommodate a booking on location as well. ||My friend and I arrived on Thursday and stayed through Sunday for the Holistic Retreat offered through Santosha directly (nightly rate). The owners, JB and Matt, were actively on site and extremely friendly and welcoming. The entire teams creates such a welcoming and comforting environment, you truly feel at home.||Our room was beautiful with a comfortable queen bed. Bathroom was stocked with essentials (hair dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Everything was clean and comfortable. Each room is a little different but all seem to have an attached bathroom. You can control the temp in your own room easily as well. The community spaces are beautifully decorated and have ample areas for relaxing, reading or chatting. There were lots of books, puzzles and games to keep you occupied! ||The retreat includes 3 hour long yoga classes and 1 hour of dharma talks per day. You have full access to the hot tub (quite large, could comfortably fit 4-5 people) and the sauna from 8 am to 10 pm. The space has breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, rivers and nature. There are many close nature walks and hikes you can access by foot or a short drive. There is also a pickleball/tennis court that was not open when we were there (too much snow still). ||The yoga classes were taught by a number of teachers in various styles and it kept things interesting and fun! I enjoyed every single class. My friend is a beginner at yoga (has only been to a handful of classes) and she really enjoyed it as well! We had 2 yoga teachers in our classes also, so a variety of levels can participate in all the classes!||I had 2 massages with the lovely Carrie and I wish I had done another! I tried both the standard massage and the facial one and they were both amazing. Carrie asks if you have any areas that need more focus and she truly customizes the experience for you. Best massages I have ever had.||As for the food, every single thing we ate was a 10/10. All the food was nutritious AND delicious. I did not try a single thing that I did not thoroughly enjoy. They are able to make accommodations for certain restrictions and preferences in advance which is incredible. You also do not go hungry! Included in the nightly rate are 4 full meals. They kept an insane amount of variety in what we ate as well. ||Overall, this was the best wellness retreat I could have hoped for. The pricing is extremely reasonable and fair. We did not feel obligated to attend all events but wanted to because the community fostered there was so magical! You have plenty of opportunity for quiet, solo time or opportunities to talk and have fun in groups. I truly cannot sing the praises of Santosha enough. I already have 5 friends and 2 family member who would like to go after hearing me talk about my experience. I will be back soon and frequently. 💛✨

The New Year retreat was my second visit to Santosha. The first was a writer's retreat in January 2023, and it was wonderful to be back. The setting is a beautiful Gilded Era inn. Owners JB and Matt were away for the holiday, but new inn keeper, Sophie, took care of all of our needs, food, drink (there is a bar open in the evening with cocktails and mocktails) , and any request that guests had. She also ran the evening dharma talk which was a great place to share ideas and set intentions for the new year. The yoga was taught by visiting yogi, Madeline, who was incredibly knowledgeable and able to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of experience. I pushed myself and tried the flow class , and she had many modifications where necessary. There are four, healthy meals throughout the day to keep you nourished. Rooms are lovely but not fancy. There are no room phones or tvs. There is an outdoor hot tub and sauna and walking trails. Skiing is nearby. I already have plans to return. This is a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate.|

Stayed at the Inn a few times over the years and enjoyed it. Tastefully renovated historic property. Clean rooms, good drinks and food. New owners took over and are so focused on the yoga zen experience. The rooms now are so spartan, it reminds you of a soviet bloc, college dorm room. No TV, and hardly any furniture. I am here to ski, not attend feminist yoga classes. They should stick to what has worked best over the years, and not shove "change" down peoples throats. Not worth the money, until they put some furniture in the rooms and make them more comfortable.
