Tolerable thrift store. Cash only which you would think would help them have better prices. Medium to high prices on most item but there are some good deals. Smells awful in certain places so be careful where you wait. Small selection of items due to store size.

I went to the attic a couple times, some KIDS clothes are priced well. However I will never step foot in the store again.
A cashier (OLDER GENTLEMAN) didn't know the sales that they were having and he was going to sell me everything FULL PRICE. when I asked him about the sales going on he was extremely rude. so I counted the items I had ALL (for half price) because he just kept throwing numbers around. He said to me very rudly "let me know when your done counting".
The store only allows cash so I brought $20 with me (simply bc I didn't know what I was going to spend there). My 5 items came up to $3. He was then extremely mad bc I gave him $20 he says to me " all you have is 20 huh over $3" he then yelled to a worker to get him more cash he then says
"unbelievable". I couldn't believe how nasty this man was to me. I felt so uncomfortable I left immediately. I messaged the store to let them know how my experience was. And they backed him up saying he has been a volunteer for many years and he's deaf. They took his side, and I was shocked with there response back.
This man may be deaf but that doesn't give him the right to be so nasty and disrespectful. I respect my elders but this man was NASTY. Again I will never ever step foot in that store again. And I hope no one ever experiences what I did today.

IF YOUR HAVING A SALE YOUR WORKERS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT.

Love going in there! It's like a treasure hunt and you never know what goodies you will find. Really good prices too. I wish I could go in daily but once a week is the norm. Like new jeans for $4. I scored an LLBean women's jacket for $6. Yeah, do it. You'll be glad you did. Going in regularly, you can find some great buys.

They've really brighten the place up and things are more organized. I love my weekly trip there.

They block people from their page if they make a comment or suggestion. Im not entirely sure why a Thrift store blocks multiple people for asking about prices. A pair of used gloves for $40

This place use to be reasonable now their prices are too high for me to go there. Clothes are so close together you can't even look but they keep adding to racks & it gets tighter. Maybe a bag sale to thin them out & instead of jacking up prices so ppl who don't have much money can shop there. Some clothes marked $8.00 & up for shirt's are outrageous. I use to go there a lot but stopped cause can't afford to. So I go to win win in Brewer where clothes are only $2.00.this place has been taken over by greed & they call themselves a church ppl they are suppose to help ppl not rip them off.

I'm new to Maine and I called to ask if this place was hiring. Unaware that it's ran by volunteers and I get a lady on the phone yelling like I can't hear. When I was allowed to ask my question she yelled "It's Volunteers!" Then slammed the phone hurting my ear. I'm never stepping foot in here if that's how people are treated.

Nice ladies working there, but I feel really bad for anyone struggling financially who goes there. I saw a coat for $150.00. Expensive shoes too. ..like $20-50.
I thought this was a church place that wants to serve its local community. If people can afford those prices they will buy NEW stuff...i actually thought they should be ashamed of themselves for such prices. Not Biblical of them....unless they are trying to be like the moneylenders or tax collectors mentioned in the Gospels.
