I stayed here at the end of September 2024 and was exceptionally pleased with my experience. My room (King, partial ocean view) was large, spotless and equipped with the latest conveniences. The bath was perfect, with extra towels and modern, effective fixtures.
The staff was extremely polite and friendly and offered a couple of suggestions that made our stay even nicer. There were complimentary muffins and coffee in the lobby and the included breakfast was limited but done well and totally fine. I was so impressed with the hotel in general, that I asked a staff member at the front desk if the hotel had recently opened. I was shocked to hear that it had been open for ten years already. It seems brand new. There are a huge number of lovely properties on Mt. Desert Island at which to stay, but frankly, I'll come back to this Hampton Inn every time and save my money for kayak and bike rentals and dining out.

An all around great place to stay! Beds were comfortable. They cleaned the room every day. Staff was helpful! Breakfast was the best. My husband is picky about eating at hotels. The food was individually wrapped and made fresh every day. We even took some snacks for the hikes. Coffee, tea and water were available all day. The jacuzzi was clean and well kept. Towels were provided in the pool. The manager was often available for questions. There was a shuttle to downtown. I don't know if that's year round. We were able to see the sunrise from our room.

Rooms are well appointed. Very clean. The Establishment appears to be fairly new. But the breakfast is the best of the three Hamptons we have stayed at within the past week. Fresh croissants muffins pastries and more omelettes you name it they have it. I would come back again.

Love this hotel. The staff is incredible. Shoutout to Kaleigh at the front desk to say thank you from Judy and Bill! The island free shuttle runs every half hour to the main park in Bar Harbor. And you can get the shuttle to Acadia National Park for hiking from this park. That makes it so easy since parking in town and in the Park is hard to find. The breakfast is really good too… the Best.

Nothing fancy but super clean in a great location. The staff was great and the food was generous. Lots of breakfast options plus they leave out cakes and coffee all during the day to snack on. Very pleasantly surprised and would recommend.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Bar Harbor on 09/29/2024. Overall, this hotel offers a typical mid-range Hampton Inn experience. The public areas and my room were clean, and the front desk service was prompt, with no wait for check-in. My stay was quiet and comfortable, which was exactly what I was looking for. My only issue was the lack of a TV guide or channel list, making TV navigation a bit tricky. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Visited the area for the Fall foliage and to visit Arcadia National Park. Hotel was located on top of a hill providing great views of the waterfront. Free breakfast and spacious rooms with balcony. Saw deer in the parking lot! Not walking distance to central shopping.
