I arrived late, a bit after 7:30 PM on a Monday. Erin still took the time to serve a three-course meal to my wife and I, even though we ended up being the last guests in the dining room. I’m so grateful for that, and the property is so charming and warm. Bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed for two evenings in the Pinecone Cottage at the Greenville Inn while attending a wedding in July 2024. The cottage was beautiful. With wide pine floors, two comfy queen beds, a full size tub & shower, and nice fixtures, it had everything that we needed. The on demand hot water was a nice bonus, as was being able to charge our electric vehicle using the external outlet on the porch. We had breakfast both mornings. The staff was able to accommodate our dietary preferences - dairy allergy and gluten intolerance - with ease. There was complimentary coffee, soda, and water available all day, as well as fresh baked cookies. The housekeeping staff was awesome- our room was spotless both days. The view of the sunset from the front porch was to die for. If you stay, be sure to schedule some time to sit outside with a drink from the self-service bar and enjoy the view. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Greenville.

The house is lovely and cozy. The views from the porch are great. It is convenient to town. It was so relaxing to sit and rock in the rocking chairs before dinner. The guest rooms are well-appointed and extra comfortable. The help-yourself snacks and drinks are so thoughtful for travelers. (The filled raspberry cookies are to die for!) Our hosts are so friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was one of the best we have had, served by friendly staff that was very accommodating to our dietary needs. We hope to be back again soon.

My wife and I are returning for third time, and just booked our summer dates. We love the throwback atmosphere of the inn, beautiful view, friendly staff and just getting away here.

Recommend taking the ferry to Mt kineo for a beautiful hike and view. We've also done big moose mtn, and parts of gulf hagas trail nearby. ... Or just enjoy views and glass of wine or breakfast on the deck.

Erin was very helpful this go round with some questions we had on specifics with room. Looking fwd to summer escape!
Attaching pics from atop Mt kineo on the lake and gulf hagas (falls) which are both close by.

The inn is elegant yet homey a perfect mix for our moose viewing expedition. The view is wonderful of Moosehead Lake. ||We dined for 2 nights at their restaurant 368. The food and service were well above expectations for the area. Fine dining gourmet cuisine with attentive service. The mussels were some of the best we ever tasted. My chicken was cooked just right and bread pudding desert was delicious. Breakfast was carefully prepared, good portions and delicious. I recommend highly.

On a two day July weekend, the main inn was practically deserted. It is much too high priced for the quality. Yes, the building itself appears well preserved on the outside and has lovely Victorian furnishings in public spaces. The staff was friendly but not always around. The owners are a no-show and live elsewhere.

For $329 in the largest suite I do not expect fake flowers. I expect the mattress should have a mattress cover, not a thin sheet directly on the mattress. The room was very clean and had adequate towels and nice bathrobes, the only expensive touch I saw. There isn’t a box of tissues, and there's one wastebasket for 3 rooms. Just not the luxury I expected for the price. The upholstered chair was tattered. The shower must be 1920’s fixtures, with a shower that dumps directly on your head and not room to move away; the interesting curving pipes which might deliver shower laterally were blocked off. Inadequate electrical outlets for our needs, and curiously, a plug-in flashlight blocking one outlet with a “do not unplug” sign on it. Original tile in the bathroom shows mended holes from previous fixtures, and drains were corroded The bathroom is in need of serious update.

We ate breakfast there only one day; we didn’t get choices. Orange juice tasted like canned. Omelet with cheese was tasteless. Bagel on the side was the tiny size, oh, and just one half a bagel. Hash was canned. Out of 10 tables, 3 were occupied on a busy July weekend.

The flower garden in front has some lovely Oriental lillies blooming, but was untended and weedy. Just not a first class place: needs upgrading in many spots.

Do not recommend!

Perfect view of the mountains. Beautiful!!! Road is a bit hard to find...but when you're given the wrong directions by someone else, it usually is. Once we had the correct directions, we drove slowly and found the right Rd.

The food was a dream! My hubby especially loved the steak tips and the Mac and cheese. He can't stop talking bout the Mac and cheese. We'd love the recipe if it isn't too much to ask. Me? I loved everything! I ate too much, but it was worth it. Simply Delicious!!! My sister-in-law loved the eggs with ham we had for breakfast and the cheesecake.

We stayed in the red bldg down the Rd. Kinda rustic but perfect accomodations for our needs. And...the eclipse was beautiful from there.

We had a wonderful time and someday we'll be back. Can't wait!
