4 years ago the vehicle I had died, engine problems and it was going to cost more to fix it then the value of the vehicle. We called the local dealerships and when we told Darren and Gary at Gagnon's why we were looking for a vehicle they did not hesitate and brought a brand new vehicle to my work for me to take home for the night. Yes, I ended up buying that vehicle.
3 weeks ago, I had some warranty work done on that particular vehicle. I spotted a couple of vehicles that I would love to have. The following week I called Darren and inquired about those vehicles. Darren worked his magic, gave me a very fair trade in for my 2020 Buick and the next day I am the proud owner of a 2025 GMC.

Not my personal experience but the person is very close to me and I hate to see such a kind man get treated so poorly by sales and service staff! Imagine being a faithful customer not just for brand loyalty bit to the Gagnon dealership. Purchasing 12 plus GM trucks from this dealer. I am positive after his recent disrespectful and down right wrong treatment Purchasing his last 2023 GMC here he will never buy another vehicle here. Imagine purchasing a brand new GMC top of the line everything loaded 4x4 "with 10 speed transmission " I imagine salesman got a hefty commission on it for the price he paid for it. Only to have the truck completely have transmission failure before it's even 2 years old. Truck never pulled anything but my boss to get coffee btw. Truck wasn't worked hard and still has original tires on it.
These things happen understandably. WHAT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN!! IS THE ATTITUDE OF WE CAN'T WON'T HELP YOU AT YHE DEALERSHIP!!! HAVING FULL WARRANTY AND LOANER VEHICLE IN HIS WARRANTY AGREEMENT!!! GAGNON SALES DEPARTMENT AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT WONT EVEN LEND HIM AN OLD IMPALA TO RIDE IN UNTIL HIS TRUCK IS FIXED. FURTHERMORE THEY HAVE TRIED TO FIX IT TWICE ONLY TO HAVE THE PROBLEM INCREASE AND BECOME MORE SEVERE.

Take my advice good people of aroostook county. Buy your trucks elsewhere because the sure don't care much about your return business here. As a business standpoint a very miscalculated move on behalf of Gagnon. Not too many people in the county to choose from. Plenty of other dealerships though. True Story 👍

Could not be happier today! I have buy trucks every couple years (work), typically Ford, a couple Dodges over the years but not GMC/Chevrolet. Wow have I been missing out on great service, forgot what it was like! Will definitely be returning, even though the dealership is 150 miles away, it is worth every penny. Thanks again guys!

EVERY TIME I go there for a simple appointment, it always costs me well over $250. It never fails that they find something wrong that needs fixing. I'm going to get a second opinion on any work that I get quoted.
