the k-pop album prices at this store are absolutely ridiculous and it's quite literally a scam like it's literally highway robbery? the albums are anywhere from 45$-60$ and people who are buying it probably don't know any better which is sad. buy your k-pop albums literally anywhere else y'all

Do not sign up for the "free" backstage rewards program. It's an old school monthly charge scam. You'll end up having to call and cancel. 10% off is not worth the trouble.

Atmosphere is always nice in here. It's quiet and clean. Employees are always friendly. My literal only gripe is that half the items don't have prices on or near them, so you either guess or incessantly bother the employees to ask about it.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Manager and staff are beyond rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. This is worth the read I swear. I have shopped at this store a few times now I’d say about 3 times since I moved to this area. The first time I shopped the manager lied to me about some random deals they had and said they would give me like 40% off if I signed up for like these three promotions they had. They told me the second I left the store I could cancel all these promotions with no problem! Well they lied one of them was easy to cancel and the other two took me about two weeks to get canceled. When I went back into the store and brought this up they lied to my face saying they had no clue it would take that long. My friend who purchased with me that day ended up returning her items and they were so rude. The manager kept pushing that she should exchange them and refused to give her the full amount that she payed back to her even tho she had her receipt and they were all unopened brand new items. She ended up getting such anxiety from the guy that she just took what he could get and left. The last time I shopped there my same friend called the store to ask if they had a certain item in stock! The associate on the phone was beyond rude to her. She asked if they had it and his response was “ yes they release today” she then just wanting to confirm that the item was in the store on the shelf asked “ okay! So it’s on the actual shelf in stock? “ the guy responded “ yeah I just said that “ and continued to go off about how customers never listen to anything he says. She proceeded to tell him that was a bit rude she was just asking a question and hung up. When we arrived at the store the manager was out stocking items he came out with a huge box and threw it down on the floor right next to my friend and gave her a glare. Also while I was just looking at the pops he came up right behind me and I mean like where I could feel his breath on the back of my neck and yelled “excuse me” I legit screamed because it scared me so much and he just walked off. When I finally checked out the manager tried to force the sales on me again and when I said no his whole demeanor changed slamming my item on the counter and not speaking to me again even when I said “thank you so much!” After paying. Honestly idk who let these people run this store but it’s the most rude customer service I’ve ever seen and that’s coming from someone who works in customer service myself. Idk who peed in these guys Cheerios but if you are looking for a good experience shopping wise you damn well won’t find it here. I say stay clear.

Very shady business practices. I signed up for their "Backstage VIP" membership, as the sales associate said it was completely free. It turns out that is incorrect, I am now being charged $11.99/month for some membership on my personal debit card that I do not use and did not consent to. Just further proof that you should read everything yourself before signing up for stuff, I would recommend not having your sales associates lie about costs in regards to a "free" membership. I will certainly not be back.

Edit: Manager was very helpful in cancellation process, thank you to FYE for being understanding. Moving forward, I would recommend not having associates advertise the product as free.

Was out trying to find a place to get a new CD that came out and they're aren't many stores carrying them anymore unless you order or digital download. So I went to the parkway place mall to get it and was very happy to see they had it and was on sale cheaper than the online prices for it. The store is much smaller and not as easy to browse because all types of music is alphabetically together in a very tight shelf instead of how they used to be in categories but at least they still carry them. Everyone working there was very pleasant and really helpful I will definitely return to this store. I just wish they would at least make the displays easier to browse there is just way too much stuff crammed together in such a small store it's almost claustrophobic. This store used to be twice this size I know it's because most people use Amazon or just do download but I still prefer to have the actual CD in case my computer crashes so I don't have to worry about losing my albums I know several people that lost everything and even with proof they bought it online had to buy them again from several different sites. They do have lots more stuff on their website too and they run great sales so I think it's worth a visit to their store or website.

I signed up for the free month of the Backstage Pass and cancelled it in early January. They are still charging me for it. I've looked at reviews for Backstage Pass and pretty much all of them are negative. I love FYE, but this has really tainted them for me. The associates are always nice, but they push Backstage Pass too much and then you get ripped off by the company.
