Recently ordered a bedroom set. It was the best decision I have made. The bed took a long time to build but afterwards I was glad I spent the time. Not sure why people dislike. Everything was well protected and in great shape. I would definitely buy more from here.

We ordered a dining set in December 2014. It arrived promptly; however, the table top was cracked and the base had a large gouge in it. We contacted Furniture Check right away and sent photos of the damage. A few days and multiple emails later, we had a promise for replacement parts. We waited over 2 months to receive these parts, and not once was contact ever initiated by Esther from Furniture Check to update us or resolve the issue. About every 3 times we emailed we received a response saying there was a delay. The posted phone number never worked and the “online chat” is just an online form that never received a response. Finally, she said the manufacturer had it on delay so we called a different retailer and were told that it was not backlogged and could have it to our house within 2 weeks. At that point, we requested a full refund given the totally incompetent way our order had been handled thus far. Esther did offer a 100% refund, but it’s been almost a week now and we don’t have the shipping label or any response from them after 3 emails. I have truly never been more frustrated or disappointed with a company’s customer service. I will happily update this post if we receive a 100% refund (including our original shipping costs) – but otherwise BUYER BEWARE as it is exhausting dealing with this company.

You should hope you don't have problems with your furniture being damaged. Worst customer service i have ever encountered. We received a bed that was BADLY DAMAGED, and I have called several times to try to get the problem solved. I have called at least 10 times and spoken to a human twice who could not help me. She told me to write a service department and a guy name John who apparently is the CEO is "helping" now. Although there was no instruction manual in the box, he sent me a diagram to mark the damages then blamed me for not matching the photos to the crappy diagram. He also said I should have approved the delivery, but do you do a delivery person who will wait over an hour for your delivery to be inspected? It took about 2 hours to find all of the damages. His solution after a week is to try and send me some parts and touch up paint on a NEW bed. I paid almost $1000 including $179 for shipping. The bed is so damaged, I just want a refund. Now to deal with my credit card company and hope they can help. I tried to save $100 by not going with EBAY...what a mistake!!!!!

DO NOT ORER FROM THIS SITE!!!!! Shipping & delivery are the worst I have ever experienced!!! I will not make this mistake again. I place 5 orders for furniture from different websites on February 22. The other 4 pieces I purchased from other places arrived with in a week with little or no shipping charges. The 1 piece I ordered from this company I am still waiting on & I paid over $250 for shipping!!!! I have been given 3 different delivery dates. When they fail to deliver on the time & date they gave me they just set up another delivery date. The tracking number & website is confusing & unreliable!!!! With as many bad reviews all over the Internet, Im surprised this company is still in business!!!!!

I ordered a platform bed from flatfair. Much like some other reviews I read after the fact, they asked me to verify my address. I obliged. Then they said they would ship the product. After that email I received a call from an unknown number stating that the item I bought was out of stock and would ship from another warehouse. Following that, it’s radio silence. I can’t get ahold of them, they aren’t contacting me. I filed a complaint with the BBB and disputed their payment through my credit card company because there is really no other options. Not worth the hassle.

We finally received the bunkbeds today September 28, 11 weeks to the day from when my card was charged by Flatfair on July 13. I understand they don't have control over the construction process and in all fairness they gave me the opportunity to cancel the order 3 separate times as they continued to postpone delivery. But we really wanted the triple bunkbed which we did not find elsewhere. Their people are nice to deal with on the phone and e-mail. Fortunately the bunkbeds are a gift to my grandchildren who aren't arriving in California until December so the very long delay was not as annoying as otherwise might have been the case. In the intervening 11 weeks, I forgot that we had originally ordered delivery without the assembly fee, thus it was very disappointing to learn that a couple big boxes had been delivered to my son's address and the driver told him he doesn't do assembly. I immediately called Flatfair - certain their very caring customer service people would want to do something to assuage their often expressed sorrow and concern for the lengthy delivery delay. But I got a voicemail, and a couple hours later a call back in which I was reminded that I did not pay the assembly fee last July 13 and therefore should not have expected them to assemble the beds. I suggested, given their deeply expressed sorrow and embarrassment at the long delay expressed on multiple occasions, they might have volunteered to assemble the bed as a token of their service commitment. Well, that was not the case. So I will attempt to do that myself this weekend as I probably originally planned last July before I ruptured my meniscus in August and can no longer bend my knee. But that's not their problem.

Ordered a sectional, dining set, and bed frame. The pricing is significantly less most any other furniture outlet. Status of the order is not updated, simply reach out to customer service and have patience as they will respond in a day or two. Delivery will most likely be completed in 2 weeks and was done professionally. Will definitely consider making future purchases from FlatFair.

My advice- Avoid this company at all costs!!! They sent me a couch that was clearly 9 1/2 inches shorter than it was listed. They will only do curbside delivery and will not delivery in your home. So be prepared to do a lot of heavy lifting or have someone help you with the heavy lifting.

After I complained that the couch was significantly shorter than advertised, they gave me the runaround and try to avoid me. Finally, after multiple complaints and threatening with the BBB, they agreed to accept a return, but would only refund me 75%.

They set up a delivery date with me. Because the original box was destroyed, they tried to avoid me. Then they agreed to accept it as long as it was boxed. I finally boxed up, and then they lied and said it needed to be the original box. They finally agreed to give me a small amount of $$ back to keep the couch.

The whole process was a major hassle!! They do not reply or answer clear questions. They try to avoid e-mails about complaints. They refuse to give you a number to their claims department.

Best advice, do not use this company at all!! Buyer beware!
