I have been a donor and customer of Fair Tide for years. Recently however I have noticed their prices are high and their donation storage full. Better to lower your prices and sell more than sell less because of high prices. They do have a 1/2 sale on the last Sat. of ea. month. Perhaps more special sale days would reduce the inventory making way for more donations. That being said, their mission is wonderful and I will continue to donate when they have room.

Some nice items and a decent shopping atmosphere as long as you don't pass out from sticker shock. It is jam packed with stuff but that is probably due to their full blown retail prices. They make Goodwill and Savers seem like bargain basement pricing! It is too bad places don't realize they will make more money/attract more customers/clear out more merch if they priced items to move. I prefer to support smaller non profits and keep money in the community but the prices here are ridiculous. They run half off after a month but even then, the prices are too high. I have seen less expensive items in thrift stores in NYC! I will not be back.

I love Fair Tide. First I know the owner and you couldn't ask for anyone better or nicer or friendlier. She is the best and always greets you with a warm welcome and a smile. That goes a long way.
Now for the store. Awesome!! I always find something I need and at a very affordable price. And I always find something I didn't know I needed as well.
Her half price, last Saturday of the month is the best deal in town. Don't miss it--- definitely worth the visit.
And lastly the volunteers she has that give their time for a great cause are as friendly as they are helpful.
I can't say enough good things about Fair Tide. Go, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Used to be great with flat pricing on clothes, but now they price according to the item/brand so there aren’t really any “finds” anymore. Still has some decent stuff most of the time but you will pay accordingly.

Use to be a good place to get treasures and jewelry reasonable, Now you don't even see them. This shop now posts on Posh Mark, Ebay, Mecari and FB. (as told by employee) Why are they called a non profit thrift store when the better stuff doesn't even go into the store for sale
Recently they had a box of silver plate being held but not going out for sale! Why? If your looking for the usual clothing, housewares, books etc. It's Not a bad place to shop. If your treasure hunting move on to the next shop. No true bargains here anymore.

Well... what's not to like about this place. Not only brand name clothing but the clothes are clean unlike other 2nd ✋ stores I've been to. There's usually enough associates working so you can get help and decent check out time 😉
