It would be great if you would post your winter hours on Google. Or at least have your winter hours on a voice mail message so people wouldn't drive for 30min just to find out you're closed.

Great local place to get large slabs quality local meat I have grabbed several full racks of Ribeyes, pork chops racks, racks of ribs large briskets and pork shoulders to fill my smoker with they also have a good selection of sausages where else can you get bangers yum

I shop here for my meat often… the only time I don’t and have to turn to Hannaford is when I’m late a they’re closed an have no choice but to find something for dinner. The family that owns this market is incredibly wonderful people. I am a super weirdo about meat so any slight smell I instantly think bad.
Monday I purchased almost 100$ in different chicken tossed it in the freezer thawed one out today for dinner and it had a slight smell so I brought back all the chicken I purchased Monday an he swapped it out no questions asked no problems (not that I thought there would be as I’ve only had good experience with everyone here) I took the new chicken back home opened pack to marinate for dinner and again it had that slight smell so I called he told me told come back down and I did and spoke the the woman owner and she politely an very professionally educated me on why I smell a hint of “chicken” it all makes perfect sense as one of the reason I go here is because it’s FRESH meat no chemicals added to it! They do this for a living an I completely trust what she’s telling me! They are wonderful people and I know she wouldn’t turn me in the wrong direction! She offered to refund me if I still didn’t feel comfortable! I left with all my chicken a little more knowledge on fresh meat and my mind at ease! She didn’t make me feel stupid she was very understanding.
By the looks of some of the other reviews perhaps they should just ask the ones in this profession instead of leaving the bad reviews a not go back! I most certainly will give them my money over any chain grocery store!
I am sorry for all the hassle today but I appreciate the time you took out of your day to ease my mind an educate me very professionally!

The ONLY place I buy meat from in the area. The meat selection is awesome, fresh, and there are enough items where you can put together a delicious dinner that night with all the fixing and no need for another stop. The chicken bacon ranch pasta salad and the walnut chicken salad are two favorites of their pre-made salads. The cheeses, veggies, breads and all the little extras are all so good. The dogs even get to luck out with marrow bones.
Also need to mention the people that work there are all so nice, happy to take the time to help you get what you need.

Hands down the best quality and tasting meat / produce that you will ever eat! My family thinks I just make the most amazing pork chops but in reality I get them from Emerys and just put some bread crumbs on them ! The price is no different than buying from Hannaford and the quality, difference of taste is extraordinary! So glad I found this place

My son & I have always purchased meat from Emery's when they had a location in Auguosta. We still purchase from them. But, EVERYTHING we have ever gotten has been awesome & reasonably priced. They are very friendly & have excellent friendly customer service! They also carry a lot of local farmer produce depending on what's in season, meat, eggs,cheeses, fresh farm milk along with some delicious home made pies , breads and desserts. I never know each week when I go to pick up my farm fresh milk what different goodies they will have. They carry a plethora of bottled sauces and home made spices. For a small local business, there's a ton of products. Try it! You will be pleasantly surprised and probably hooked by visiting weekly like I do. 😁
They also carry fresh dog food and chew bones for your pet. I don't think anything from a chicken or beef is wasted. I purchase the toes, hearts, wings, necks and whatever from the chicken and beef bones that I use to make my home made broths. 😋.
