Debbie and Steve have done a very nice job with this old Motel. Our room was spacious, clean, neat and not overly worn. With a very comfortable king size bed, fridge, microwave, TV and cable, desk and clean spacious bathroom. It was surprisingly quiet and a very good value. I would definitely stay here again. Debby runs it in a good, old fashioned way. Nice!

It looks a bit like a whole in the wall, but the rooms are very clean. Best air conditioning and best water pressure in the shower. Wonderful staff! I have stayed at many different places in Parker and this is my favorite. Even enjoy it more than the luxurious looking Blue Water casino and hotel. Best place to eat in Parker is the Crossroads Cafe right across the street.

I recently stayed at El Rancho Motel, 5/19/2018, and I had a great stay! I chose this place because it's a historical motel and I enjoy those types of lodgings when staying in the desert. The room was very clean, particularly the bathroom. The air conditioner worked extremely well. I mention this because often at old motels they do not work well. This one really blasted the cold which was wonderful since it was over 100 degrees. Lastly, I forgot an article of clothing. I contacted the motel and they found it and mailed it back to me right away! I mention this because unlike large hotels, this place is small and the customer service is personal. If you're going to be in Parker for the evening, stay here! Not to mention, it's centrally located and within a half mile walk of anything you'd want to do in Parker, including restaurants, gas station, mini marts, Colorado river/bridge, etc. Very nice place and extremely affordable!

I enjoyed my stay here very much, the room had a memorable coziness to it. I prefer the classic personal touch over name brand accommodations.

We prefer to avoid chain motels in favor of local mom & pop businesses. I checked prior reviews of this outfit and most were favorable.|| What I can say is that I made a reservation over the phone direct with Debbie (the proprietor). I gave a tentative date and expected to need two rooms (tentative because son was coming home from 13th year in Afghanistan and we weren't certain of the actual arrival date). A family 'reunion' was planned for the river.|| Debbie said she'd book the rooms and asked that I call back two weeks later to firm up the dates and number of rooms.|| I did and she said she had two rooms for us. She politely refused to take my credit card info explaining that we could settle when I got there. (When have you last had that sort of experience?) At the last minute it looked as if we would only need one room and a simple phone call took care of it. Later we found we really did need the extra room, for our younger son, and another phone call had it ready.|| The motel is similar to an old, route 66 type, touring motel...probably built in that era, and on the outside it doesn't look like much. Wife was dubious (son declared it the Bates Motel and that we were all going to die) and Debbie gave us keys to check out the rooms. My wife and sons' jaws dropped when the doors opened. These rooms were spacious, huge bathrooms, microwave and fridge...well cared for and spotlessly clean. Our stay was extraordinary quiet and restful after very hot days on the water.|| They also offered us unlimited ice to take with us to the water. We're small town folks and these small town folks were even nicer than we expected. They had me fill in a card with name and address, then gave us the keys. "We'll settle when you leave."|| This kind of business doesn't happen too frequently anymore and it should be encouraged.|| The motel is walking distance from the Colorado River (not much water access there, though). Across the street is a restaurant that has good quality, reasonably priced food. This motel is in the older section of town and the area is quiet and pretty safe.|| Coming from California on 62, the motel is less than half a mile after crossing the river.

I came through Parker, Az in May of 2015. The El Rancho is inexpensive, but very nice...and the staff and especially the manager (I wish I could remember her name) were just wonderful ! It isn't the Hilton, but I felt that it was very reasonable, very clean and very comfortable. The manager was so sweet...she could have given me the keys to a tool shed and I wouldn't have complained...

Great staff, super friendly. Not as big a room as in other photos or bathroom, but clean. Nothing special but better than some main brand hotels in the area. House keeping only once a week which doesn't bother me. Small place so fills quickly. I'll definitely be staying here again.

I just spent the night at this newly opened hotel yesterday. Frankly I was very impressed by this place and their very hard working and nice staff. Especially Carl., who went out of way to hep out this old Fool.||||Now this place is not The Waldorf Hotel yet. But the Owner and the staff are going places with it. |||| So in my Humble opinion, if you are looking for a great place to put your head down while in the Parker area. Then you might want to consider this place.
