Overall, the room is ok, it's half the price of others in the area (for many reasons), but the hotel is not well marked to locate, it's tucked behind other buildings (need better signage).

Right away there were problems. There was no one at the front desk, so I called Choice Hotels to report it and they could not issue me a refund for the room. So I waited a while longer.... a total of 45 minutes for clerk to return. Once I got checked in, the room was ok but not great. Smelled a slight bit musty, the upholstered chair had several stains on it, and the tall corner lamp didn't work. Thank heavens there's no carpeting.

I did inspect the bed and pillows VERY closely before going any further. They were good, clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, only 3 pillows were provided... one flat pancake, one medium softness, and one was hard as a rock.... I felt like Goldilocks. LOL

We're having a super cold snap (mid January), and I was glad the heat works good, along with the satellite dish (but t.v. had to be turned on manually from the back - very weird).

Biggest drawback was the bathroom ... not good at all... dirty around base of toilet, and missing base trim next to shower (it looked moldy).

Can't say I would ever return.

Room needed attention to small repairs. Bed was very comfortable. Poor continental breakfast without real coffee (only the stuff made from coffee concentrate -- which IS brown and liquid, but that's all it has in common with coffee).

We stopped at this location as a sleepover during our trip. I chose it based on the price and reviews, which indicated that the facility had improved since the past reviews. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Here are the honest facts... Our non-smoking room smelled horrible, worse than smoke, and was not clean. The carpet was terribly stained and ripped. The drapes had disgusting stains on them, to the point I don't know why they were there in the first place. The bathroom door had holes in it, and the bed sheets also had holes. The chair in the room had stains on it. The other rooms were noisy, and we could hear people talking all night. I honestly regretted staying at this location with my family from a safety perspective.
Bottom line, stay at another location.

I never said anything about the running toilet all night sound every few minutes. So for constructive feedback they may need a plumber. However the people who ran the hotel was so nice and that's really hard to find these days. I stayed several days and yes the little breakfast needs help for sure. I would stay again and I guess the ecnolodge can't help that Forrest City isn't a "go visit" type place anyway.

Perfect stop while traveling. Well priced with simple clean rooms with a friendly staff and far enough from the highway to sleep.

They say their pet friendly but if your dog goes to barking then you're no longer welcome to stay there that's what my dogs did I told him they were doing their job when somebody walked by they bark bad service you have to put $100 cash deposit up I wouldn't go there
