We throughly enjoyed our visit to Dogwood Lodge. We fished a tournament this weekend and the owner was more than accommodating! He showed us where to park and hook up the boat, then left it up to us if we wanted to extend another night. I can’t say enough about how great the customer service was! The cabin was clean as a whistle, had a nice little kitchen with full fridge, gas stove, and a good selection of cooking essentials. We will definitely be back! Family owned and operated resort with all the amenities! Reasonable prices and accommodation. The family was warm and welcoming and I will definitely be back! Also the pool was very clean.

This was a great place to stay for our son's youth fishing tournament. The place was beautiful, close to the lake, and very clean! The owner's are so sweet!

Such a great stay with family, we each had our own little cabin/room with full fridges, stove and all the basics. You can see the owners heart and time they have invested in this place. They both was super friendly and accommodating to all our families needs. The rooms were comfy and spacious. The grounds is such a great place for yard games, bonfires and swimming. We loved gathering there nightly to recap. Highly recommend this location to anyone traveling in this area.

Dogwood Lodge is a breathe of fresh air! This area is a great location to kick back and relax, and Dogwood is a great location to stay while you are doing it. We loved that there is a pool, and it's very close to a boat dock and EXCELLENT pizza (Bush's!). If you have a group of a few families, this is a great spot to rent a few cabins for the week and all hang out together.

This is our second time staying, and it's worth noting that the owners are continually updating each cabin. We definitely plan to stay here in the future.

This place is cute, nothing fancy but everything in the room was pretty clean except the refrigerator. We had reservations for a cabin without a kitchen, #9 I think. When we got there the small window unit in the wall was on and set on 67 but that cabin was warm. We left and went to drive around and get some lunch. We went back and room wasn't any cooler. There wasn't any way we could have slept with it that warm so we went to the office to explain and was told that they understood and the units just couldn't keep up with the temps we were having. They were very nice, kept our deposit and we went in search of other accommodations.

Really close to the lake… maybe 5 min or less.
Clean, nice pool.
The owners are really kind, flexible, and helpful if you need anything.
Our room was recently updated and it was nice 🙂

Been a while but we are sure wife and I spent two nights at the Dogwood lodge February last year and Loved it!
Clean, quiet and just a really nice place to spend a few nights!
