The complimentary breakfast was very good, taste, variety, presentation, and wonderful service! The lobby and complimentary breakfast area look great! The check-in desk and everyone I met were very friendly! We were told after checking in they were in the process of remodeling and once we started down hall appearance was noticeable not as nice as the main entrance and the rooms are a mix of old and new and smelled, I think this was a hotel that allowed smoking in the past, it is posted everywhere no smoking now, because of that I'm assuming is why the rooms smell like smoke, because not everything in room is new. The beds were clean and nice. The bathtub needed replacement as well as some fixtures, but the counter, sink, toilet as well as lighting seemed new.
I believe I would give 5 star once the remodeling is complete mainly because of staff they are very helpful and have a pleasant personality!

When I checked in after sitting in traffic while I-30 was shut down, I was greeted by Cody with the rudest attitude. He was put out that I was asking if a room was available and the price. Reasonable questions at a hotel! He did apologize to me later, saying he had paperwork to do and that it wasn't like him to act like that. I hope so. The next morning when I asked the clerk for his name, she was all put out. So it seems like the staff has some anger issues toward their job. Except the girl working the breakfast area, she was sweet and polite.
The hotel is need of paint inside and my tub was in terrible condition. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at least. Not worth the hassle after a long commute.

Positive: "" Negative: Thick layer of dust on wardrobe. Mud on the couch. Rooms (2) did not smell good. Breakfast buffet was supposed to be until 10am, but at 9am they stopped refilling the foods and beverages. We had to repeatedly ask to get anything.
