Horrible experience, rude staff. Don't go here if you want quality.

I was almost immediately discriminated for my dyed hair and skirt, being called a "trouble-making partygoer" behind my back, when I literally came because I was invited for an honors introduction and tour of my uni.

They put false charges on my card, and told me I destroyed property, even when I hadn't been there all day and only returned to sleep. When I asked about it I was told they "needed money for renovations, so they were looking into incidents more"
(It makes me wonder how well the rooms are cleaned beforehand...), this was after calling me a liar many times... Horrible customer service

They didn't have anyone working the front desk in the morning either, I wanted to get breakfast but they didn't open it until the breakfast hours had already passed.

The room's thermometer didn't work at all, and there was no A/C (the unit is there, it's just off limits I guess), my aunt and I had to go out for air multiple times throughout the night because we were so overheated, and barely got any sleep.

All in all, I think this was genuinely one of the worst experiences I've had in a hotel... Which is a shame since the rest of the town is so lovely. I'm sure there are better hotels you can find, this one is definitely NOT worth the price.

EDIT--- don't believe everything Mellette writes. Most of those are lies... the first time I spoke to her, she said she would hang up on me. At that point, I was in tears, NOT yelling, but begging for some compassion. I gave chances, I kept emailing and calling to get some kind of mutual understanding but nope, nothing. So I said I would go to the media to give reviews about the horrible treatment and the horrible room and that was not a threat. It is simply telling the TRUTH. When I asked if I could use the nights, you said no, you took it back and then refused to respond to me.
Don't forget the timeline of how everything played out Mrs. Pepin! I was kind and courteous from the beginning, and once I got that horrible attitude and treatment from you, I realized I was not dealing with a good person.
I didn't use anyone but they went to YOU without ME KNOWING until AFTER THE FACT, but you did lie to that person you call your "friend". You made it very clear, you are not acting professionally, but you are acting out of spite "I can do whatever I want, I am the manager".

I just really don't understand how you can treat someone like this... but, I also know things about the past so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

WORST experience ever. Do yourself a favor and do NOT stay here or at the Mount Blue Motel. Both managed by the same person and let me tell you, she is NOT a good person whatsoever and takes advantage!!!!. No compassion at all and I was told:
1. "If you don't stop talking, I'll hang up right now"....
2. "I can do whatever I want, I am the manager, but I chose not to give you a refund"... AFTER I TOLD HER MY FATHER HAD A STROKE AND I NEED A REFUND. I was on the phone in tears.. begging.
Back story---*I was driving up to Maine from Mass on 02/26 and wanted to book a room close to my father who just had a stroke. I went online, booked for what I THOUGHT was 02/26-02/28 but turns out it was 03/26-03/28 instead. I called and was told that management was not in so they couldn't do anything about switching dates or refunding so just book for another night since you need to stay anyway and they would talk with management to help me out. When I went to do that, dates autofilled as 03/26 AGAIN but it was processed. How does that make any sense? I booked for 03/26-03/28 and then 03/26-03/27 again? So the THIRD reservation was for the correct date- 02/27 and when I talked to multiple people, they said they would try and help me out and would talk to the manager.
The manager, refused to help me. After going back and forth MANY times, she finally said she would let me use the room for different dates but then TOOK THE OFFER BACK. There is no one else to get in contact with, just the manager, no owner or anyone above her and the level of professionalism was DISGUSTING. When researching more, I found things I did NOT like and really didn't feel safe staying there. When I brought this up, I was ignored. I've been hung up on multiple times too and just treated like NOTHING.

Needless to stay, I HAD to stay there for two nights since my father had a medical emergency. So, I spent over $500, bought 5 nights but only got to use 2 nights and she refuses to give me any money back. BECAUSE SHE DOESNT WANT TO GIVE ME A REFUND. She says that is their policy but if you go on their website, it clearly states "In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 24 hours notice, please understand our cancellation policy is that you will be responsible for the entire reservation."
WELL, here I am WITH WAY MORE THAN 24 HOUR NOTICE!!!! AND AGAIN, she TOLD ME she could do whatever she wanted as a manager but CHOSE NOT TO. UNREAL!!!!

Also, the carpet had disgusting stains on it, there was broken tile and MOLD in the bathroom. I was then scolded for not bringing this up the first night BUT, I was dealing with a serious family emergency so why would I care at that point

The worst experience, and they made a tough time much harder on my family and I.. stay somewhere else. Seriously.

Not many lodging options in this area. Check in was quick and simple. Lady was pleasant and helpful. Room is dated and old timey. Housekeeping was hit and miss and very random. One day they'd empty the trash, next day they'd leave it. Making the bed consisted of haphazardly just pulling the covers up over the pillows one day, then bed wouldn't get touched rest of the trip. Sometimes you'd get towels and washcloths, or towels and no washcloths, or neither. No rhyme or reason to the housekeeping method. Staff I encountered was very nice and pleasant. Carpet is filthy and needs a good deep cleaning. Water got hot when needed.

There was blood on the bed headboard and also the sheets. No wifi and so I spent over 150$ on data, even know it says there's wifi, it just didn't work. The stove in the kitchen didn't work. A very small fridge. The only thing good about this place is the location right next to Walmart. The place just seems very unprofessional. The building is literally falling apart and seems very unstable. The heat built in the room says only for AC and that's kinda annoying.

The motel rooms are nicely updated & the staff went out of their way to accommodate us on my sons wedding weekend. They graciously left a surprise of flowers & gift basket which was incredibly thoughtful. They also even upgraded them to a king suite on their wedding night!

They have really made some strides in upgrading the rooms. We have stayed there multiple times on our way home from canada. This year, we noticed new carpet, flooring, bedding....very clean and the staff are always friendly. A low key, comfortable place to stay and the price is right. Close to many restaurants and stores.

We traveled here from New Brunswick, Canada. Chose to stay here as it was not far from Brunswick, Maine where we plan to attend the airshow. They offer a continental breakfast and we were told that they are in process of renovating all the rooms. There is a Walmart in the community not far if you want to purchase snacks. There is a bar fridge and microwave in the room. We stayed in room 116.
