First time here and have stayed throughout south coastal Maine many times. We liked it . Nice location bout a mile from downtown kennebunkport and notably has the All Important Coffee options nearby! It's not a fancy place, more of an old school motel with 8 units i believe. Ice machine on premises. Our room was Clean and had a fridge, coffee maker, ac unit and bed was comfortable. We met the owners and they are super nice people who take pride in this facilty. Multiple restaurants and things to do in the area. If you are looking for a clean comfortable place to sleep, you won't do any better for this price point in the coastal Maine area .

The owners were very accommodating when I mistakenly booked a day earlier than I should have. Having spent some time at this motel in the past, I knew that this was the place I wanted to stay while having a getaway weekend with some friends in Kennebunkport. As anticipated, the rooms were very clean, well stocked with the basics ( and then some), commodious, and exactly as I'd remembered. The complimentary, homemade delicacies and coffee were just what the doc ordered on a crispy fall morning. The location is ideal: a pleasant stroll to the corner deli, grocery, or restaurant. It's a lovely setting. The outdoor fireplace provided a great conversation area and took the edge off the cool evening. I did not leave disappointed and felt that the rates were an extremely good value for the level and quality received.

We had such a nice stay at the Cape Porpoise motel, in Cape Porpise, Maine. It is such a clean little place. It is homie, comfortable beds, nice pillows, nice-sized refrigerator in the room, everything you need. Outside, they have grills to use, chairs to relax in, and a beautiful greeter cat named Salem, that visits your room and gives the best hugs. We loved this little place very much. It really is the pretty side of Kennebunkport. We already plan our trip back and we've only been gone 15 minutes. Deb and John, are the owners, and when you leave they will be your friend. They are just that nice of people. Do yourself a favor, and book here.

We booked in here for a couple of nights largely because of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. It’s a typical single-storey small American motel, but what makes it are the welcoming and helpful John and Debra who own it. Really friendly and relaxed. Its other bonus is that it’s opposite an excellent lobster restaurant which we’d thoroughly recommend. There’s another place to eat 15 minutes’ walk down at the harbour which was fine. Cape Porpoise is a few miles from smart Kennebunkport – but a fraction of the price.

Our first and favourite stay of our New England tour. Perfect hosts and great location. Tranquil and bliss. Also highly recommend the delights of breakfast, freshly home baked by both husband and wife - it was a tough contest between the peach cake and the light scone... what a delicious way to start the day!

I booked this motel based on all the positive ratings. Yes, the owners are very friendly and Cape Porpoise is a lovely, quiet area. However, there were many factors that caused me to write this review. First of all, there were many black carpenter ants going up and down the bathroom walls. Also very concerning was that although the bed was made up daily, the bathroom was clearly not cleaned the entire visit. I found this unconscionable. No clean plastic cups were ever replaced during our time.||||There is a large lawn with Adirondack chairs. The grass clearly needed to be mowed, and there was very long grass around the trees which indicated no trimming had been done for quite a while. We wanted to sit on the chairs, but there were bird droppings on them and they were never cleaned for the duration of our visit.||||A previous reviewer submitted a negative review to which the owner responded that the person must be having a "bad day." I will probably be accused of the same. I suppose that yes, I must too be having a "bad day", but that is due to the aforementioned issues.||||Clearly, this motel needs to pay more attention to detail and basics.

Piccolo motel a gestione familiare in una posizione tranquilla a due passi da Kennebunkport, sede di vacanze del presidente Bush. Poche stanze curate con grande cura direttamente dai proprietari. Grande pulizia e cortesia nell'accoglienza e nell'assistenza agli ospiti. La colazione viene preparata con perizia dalla proprietaria ed è uno dei punti di forza di questo motel, anche se lo spazio per il consumo è un po' angusto (vi è un piccolo buffet nella minuscola stanza reception). L'ambiente in generale è cordiale e accogliente (ci hanno regalato anche dei biscottini appena usciti dal forno per il viaggio!!!).

Relaxing, quiet place to stay away from all the bustle of Kennebunkport. Comfortable bed. Classic clean space. Delicious homemade muffins and breads for breakfast. Outdoor seating on the lawn was nice for reading. Outdoor fireplace looked like it would be fun for a group, A quick walk to Nunans Lobster.
