Cape Arundel Inn was an incredible experience. Antonio and Albert were nothing short of accommodating. We had to rearrange our trip at the last minute and they helped to ensure the stay was unforgettable. When we arrived, they recommended restaurants, offered us champagne and made us feel very welcome. Our junior suite was extremely clean, with a large king size bed, and fireplace. The views from the room were sensational. We were celebrating a birthday, and they gifted us a bottle of Prosecco and macarons. We would highly recommend the inn and will be back soon!

I read a few negative reviews after we booked a King room for 2 days and a Suite for 3 days at the Clubhouse. I was very pleasantly surprised and happy with the clubhouse rooms. It is NOT a modern Hotel style room. If that is what you are looking for, check into a chain hotel. These rooms furnishings were in keeping with the style and period look of Cape Arundel Inn. They were clean and comfortable. The Club house was a very short drive or walk from the Main Inn. Our rooms were behind the clubhouse. It was lovely, peaceful and quiet set amongst the woods, in a residential neighborhood. We had full access to the Inn and Dining (spectacular views from the dining room). They offered wine and cheese every afternoon. You could relax on the porch, by the pool, pool table or by the fireplace. They did have Portable A/C units in everyroom and during the high heat of summer, maybe a problem as they are a bit noisy. We visited Mid-October and the weather was perfect. No a/c required. The staff was very freindly, helpful and accomodating.|My only negative is that I would have felt a little safer if the front doors to clubhouse were locked to only guests and staff, since there is no-one on duty at night. We had a lovely stay! I would highly recommend Cape Arundel Inn to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay.

We chose the Inn for its ocean front views, cozy room, porch, tranquility and reviews. So appreciated our honeymoon upgrade to one of their 5 large ocean front suites located just next to the Inn. Lovely linens, robes, comfy king bed, fireplace and flatscreen tv made it comfortable. We enjoyed the large chairs taking in the lawn and ocean views and the gift of champagne waiting for us. Clean and welcoming, our room also offered a fridge, complimentary waters and bar amenities too. It was quiet and loved the heated marble bathroom floor too. Loved the complimentary bikes we'd ride into town to explore as well as to the Inn's Clubhouse a few streets away with lovely pool area. Concierge Albert was amazing reserving us a hard to get reservation at Earth as well the Inn's renown Ocean Restaurant with impeccable service, yummy food and beautiful views for both dinner and breakfast. Manager Sherlin was exceptional even shipping back luggage we had ordered that arrived after we departed. The staff go above and beyond.. Overall a truly lovely stay just a bit up the road from Kennebunkport. We enjoyed the quiet proximity away from the crowds, best views and the quaint peacefulness of all the Inn offered. Will certainly return.

We chose the club area. I made the reservations over the phone. When we arrived, we were told that the two-story building did not have an elevator. I didn’t know that the trip up and down the stairs would be so treacherous. My wife and I are seniors, and although in good shape. Coming down the stairs every day was somewhat frightening. We should’ve been told we checked in. There was no elevator and we were not offered a first floor room, which would have been nice. I will say the room was very nice very well appointed and quiet. Coffee was provided in the morning. And the personnel could not have been nicer. You need inform people when they make a reservation that there is no elevator. We will not stay again.

My husband and I chose this boutique inn to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival in the Ocean Suite, we were greeted with Prosecco and sweeping views of the ocean from the private balcony and large picture window. Bedding was very comfortable and we appreciated the large comfy bathrobes. There's plenty of room to sit outdoors on the Adirondack chairs, on the porch, or by the fireplace in the nicely furnished living room. Even the soothing music added to the elegant ambience of the whole inn. We ate breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant named Ocean and every morsel was outstanding. The staff was very hospitable and made us feel special. Thank you for a memorable weekend celebration!

This is a wonderful hotel. Beautiful rooms, great staff and magnificent views. We visit every year for our anniversary.||Our trip this year however was ruined by the manager of Ocean. He was rude, unprofessional and totally ruined our anniversary celebration. ||We will definitely visit the resort in the future, but won’t be visiting Ocean until it is run by courteous management. Other than the restaurant management, the resort and it’s staff get five stars. Kudos to all.

We spent three nights in Room 3 in the main building. Our room was clean and comfortable, but small. The bathroom is especially small. The views are amazing from the room and the veranda. I miss their webcam. We chose the breakfast package. Wish the lobster eggs Benedict was offered. Service was slow and some people were worried about missing their boating excursions.|We could have used a lesson on the a/c because we accidentally turned on the heat. We sat at the pool and went to the 3 pm happy hour. Our favorite restaurant is Nunans (no credit cards).

We stayed at the Cape Arundel Club House that's tucked away just a few blocks from the Inn off the ocean. We loved the easy morning stroll back to the Inn for breakfast served by Sophia. Everyone, especially Sophia and Sandreen, who greeted us at the Club House couldn't have been more pleasant. Topping it off was a great mattress and soft pillows. Clean facility throughout. Don't forget to go to Nunan's Lobster Hut for a great lobster dinner only 4 miles up the ocean road. Other high end farm to table restaurants are close by as well.|Management gets 5 stars with Sandreen and Sophia winning the hospitality awards.
