This hotel is beautiful, the rooms are so comfy. The people who work at this hotel are so nice. Angela and Jon were amazing. They took great care of us. Matthew at the front desk was charming and not to forget Jackie was so very helpful. Tiffany and Samantha coordinated our affair and it went off without a hitch. This hotel is fully staffed and it shows. Our room was not only beautiful but clean as a whistle. The smell of the hotel is so nice. I would stay again, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful hotel with a great staff. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. The check in was all digital and you do have to use your digital key card to access the elevator at times and also the parking garage. We had some noisy neighbors and called the front desk after an hour of the noise being ridiculous and they took care of it and we were able to be some sleep (it’s was after 10pm). The rooms are clean and modern and we would stay here again. The hotel lobby has a nice bar and there’s a rooftop that has a great view and a good drink selection.

Fantastic location in old town. The rooftop terrace is very cool. We did not use the pool (tiny) or the hot tub (was covered in white foam, did not look inviting). The lobby is beautiful, rooms are clean, typical rooms. Service was good but wouldn't describe it as particularly friendly.

Location is ideal - walk to everything!
Room was clean. And cleaned every day.
Room is modern and has every detail thought out.
Rooftop pool with mountaintop views is lovely! So is the bar and sunset views!
Lobby has so many places to sit.
Restaurant was good for breakfast.
Coffee bar opens at 6:30am and they made our dog a pupichino with bacon!
Hotel cleaning people clean well.
Hotel and restaurant staff were great.
We had a wonderful 3 days!

Don't hesitate book now. This brand exceeded my expectations. The beds are comfortable and they have a wonderful gym. The rooftop pool was amazing after a long day of sightseeing. Very walkable to all the attractions. Only dislike was the parking fee but it made up as all around the area you do not have to pay at shops and restaurants.

Worst experience at a bar ever!

Enjoying all types of restaurants and bars for decades our visit at the Canopy by Hilton was a first.

We travel extensively and with decades of diverse experience's at establishments from Four Seasons in New York, some of the finest bars and restaurants across the country, to our enjoyment of many of the 'best' dive bars, we are seasoned hospitality guests.

We got into our home in Scottsdale and headed to the Canopy to meet our kids at the bar. They are whatever Hilton classifies a VIP guests, their company is based in Scottsdale and the Hilton chain is where they stay in extensive business travels throughout the USA and Europe.

They had spent the afternoon at the Canopy meeting with others on business and friends and we were able to join them for an hour or so before they had to leave for a company event.

Late in the afternoon, the kids were off to their event, we enjoyed the wine and were planning our evening when the most rude, obnoxious apparent employee approached and demanded we leave our table. No offer of an alternative or consideration that we had just received our glasses of wine. Shocked we got up and there was no place to go. The bar was filled, the area was busy we really stood there in shock. I had to find our server and ask for the bill (stiffing and walking would have possibly caused issues for the kids as they were obviously known by the servers). With no place to set it down and sign I scribbled on the tab, dropped it on the floor and we walked out with our still full glasses of wine.

This person who approached us was absolutely not what I would expect at a Hilton, in a million years we never would have thought she worked there both in appearance and in her interaction.

Needless to say we will not be looking to return. We love our limited time in Scottsdale and always spend time at our favorite places in Old Town......just going to steer clear of the Canopy.

We stayed at the Canopy Old Town in Scottsdale for a company retreat and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I worked with Samantha and Tiffany to help book our teams stay and they were both so helpful and communitive. The hotel rooftop has great drinks and an incredible view, and the rooms were so comfortable. Our team had everything we needed and were in a great location to explore so much that Scottsdale has to offer. Will definitely be looking to stay here again whenever we are in the area!
