Its a good place to stay but hopefully you're gone before 9:45 am because they come around beating on doors around 10 saying ROOM SERVICE and then they ask if you're going to pay or check out! Check out time is 11 keep in mind, so that's the only bad part. Some rooms have chains on the doors which are great extra security plus all rooms are on the inside of the building fully supported by cameras! The beds are nice and cozy and the showers are spacious.

Unless you book late for any UAPB event or need to rest for night, I would never recommend you stay with the hotel. The owner and his family is very disrespectful towards black people and believe short minded. They believe negative stereotypes about the black community and it reflects in their actions .

Hotel furniture would be better if bought from a thrift store, bathroom will always be last used by previous occupant, no clean towels.

Did have a new tv in the room.

Do not stay here they are very disrespectful and will harass you the whole time not only that but the man opened our room door while we was still getting dressed before it was even check out time and not to mention the hotel is very dirty , the towels are not clean , and they have roaches really really bad and once I called to talk to someone in a higher position to file a complaint they told me there wasn’t a number or anybody else to talk . They need to be shut down asap

Creepy place. The whole town is so scary. Skid row in LA and Downtown Oakland CA re upgrades to the whole city. Nice building I saw was a McDonald's. This place though just seemed run by crackheads. Like there's even a sign that says no visitors. TF? At a hotel? No one even in the office most the time. The city as a whole was once voted the most miserable place to live in the US.

Rooms had roaches running from numerous places. And the room door looked kicked in. There was a huge hole in bathroom door with a terrible patch job that wasnt even painted over to match the rest of door. If you have to stay here, ask for a non smoking room.

I arrived and got a room here at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday December 1st, 2018. As soon as we get in the room I notice there are no clean towels, a dirty rag and used shampoo in the shower and a sock that has been stuck to the floor for who knows how long.. I go ask for towels and was told there were towels and I put the other stuff there.. My sheet had mold on it, the mini fridge had old stagnant wet towels in it and smelled awful, tv didn't work because there was no HDMI cord, phone didn't have a line to the jack and to top it all off, when I arrived the desk attendant was nice, when I had a little trouble I called and asked for them to not let 1 person to my room, that person comes to my room and insists on saying it's his and to let him in, the new man that was there knocked on the door and my friend answered it, he asked about said person and was told he was not allowed in the room, the attendant then proceeded to ask my friend if he could come inside so he could recieve sexual favors after telling him no he got mad and sent in another guy to tell me that I am not allowed to have anyone in my room and I needed to leave the property.. This place is nasty, attendants are rude and nasty and not safe.. Kids making noise until 2 a.m., running and jumping on the top floors, parents screaming at kids and just deplorable conditions to get any rest in.. I will never do business at this location and it is sad, I used this hotel for years before Briarwood and it is just horrible, they only care about and prey upon single females..

I can for work and at 1st when I pulled about that I was kind of skeptical but then I went in any was nice the price is very decent for nice Room the family owns this place were very helpful. My job ended one day early and I needed a refund for the day that I was leaving so they gave my money back no problem and was very helpful so I will definitely recommend this place to come again and come again for anyone who want to stay!
