Pretty secluded lake in the heart of Eureka Springs Arkansas. The drive in and out could be challenging for a small car or someone without 4 wheel drive. GO SLOW! Once you make it down to the parking area you have a small hike up and around and then you arrive at the main lake past the dam. It was beautiful and quiet with pristine views! Nice walking trail around the whole lake with open areas to fish from the bank.

We loved this lake/trail. We normally do Lake Leatherwood but wanted something different. To get there, it’s a long and narrow dirt path so have a decent car to get back up. The parking lot is small but easy access. Just up a little hill and the lake is right there. It was such a beautiful day when we went. There are a couple trail options but we just did the one around the lake. There are many places to stop and stick your feet in. It’s not super long trail but a good afternoon to get out. Highly recommend

Road really sucks at the upper portion by the highway. Rain really messed it up. But it's a really nice place to walk the doggies.

Very nice mostly shaded trail. Got to enjoy several butterflies and beautiful wild flowers. No wildlife really observed. This trail is not clearly marked, but just always to the trail that goes parallel to the Lake and you will be fine. Most of the trails lead to the same place anyway. I'm happy that we did it once, but I probably wouldn't do it again.

There are 2 trails at this lake. The one around the lake is about 1 mile. It is an easy trail and great for a quick walk on a nice day. The area is beautiful. 😁

Peaceful! A little gem in the Ozarks. A visit to this place is a must in the Fall. I enjoyed a peaceful and amazingly beautiful run/walk around the lake. Fall colors were gorgeous.
