Beehive Trail - Page, Arizona

Parking is across from the campground bathroom. The trail is marked once you see the bucket that has beehive trail on it with rocks in either side guiding you. It’s about a 2 mile loop. Try to go earlier as you’ll have better lighting.

This trail sits next to a great stop right off 89 S, just passing Lake Powell, to overland in between when there’s so much to see.

First come, first serve. We arrived around 8pm (time change included) with two lot spots left on a weekday.

Some big RVs there, a great place for our roof top tent. Spot 3 facing road overlook Lake Powell. Would have stayed & felt comfortable if I was traveling alone here. Two outhouses, picnic tables at each lot, with fire pits, trash, hikes right next to it.

Parking for trails looks wheelchair accessible to the hikes, though to get to hike is uphill on gravel dirt road. I believe there were two roads that split pulling in… one to the left for trails, thought you could park and stay there too. Could prolly grab an envelope and leave money at the official overlanding spot to the right for RV’s & camping.

We were extremely grateful for this quick in between places stop, as I hate to drive at nite.

Fee of $14. Some construction equipment in the road next to us.

Though extremely grateful to arrive around 8-9 (w time change) again the next evening, (cos we spent too much time at horshoe bend overlook,) we squeezed ourself next to van, and anew pile of sand. Different vibe:
1) the outhouses wreak after two days. Had to close my RTT windows this time due to the slight breeze hitting inside 🤢 2) It’s a small area, so when people are up all nite drinking and laughing, there aren’t a whole lot of quiet hours

To me, this is a moderate trail. Some stepping up and sloped pathway. There's a left/east bluff out and back and a right/west bluff circle trail. One hour or so... Beautiful rock formations and views. Perfect for our 7 yr Labrador Retreiver before the HEAT!

A very nice, short hiking trail. With short stops for photos and drinking we hiked for a duration of 45min. It would have gone faster, but we preferred to enjoy the scenery! 🙂 The route is completely laid out with stones that form the walkway. Very lovingly designed. I would highly recommend the walking route. However, if the temperature is warm, do not lack plenty of water and headgear. There are no artificially created shade places.

Easy hike, easy to find the trail head, just off the highway. I was a little concerned when I saw the road turn to gravel after the cattle guard, but it’s only for a very short distance and no problem at all. The hike itself is well marked with rocks lining both sides of the trail The landscape is otherworldly. If I lived in the area I would be up there all the time. It wasn’t crowded, even through we were there on a Saturday morning.

A faire! Accès gratuit, c'est une petite boucle d'environ 1h, les paysages sont magnifiques, il y a de quoi faire de belles photos. Le chemin est bordé de pierres, on ne peut pas se tromper.
Quelques mètres après le départ, le chemin se sépare en Y, je recommande de commencer la boucle par la droite!
