This place is the best appliance parts store in town!! The guy knows his stuff and was able to help me get the parts needed to fix my dryer today. Also was more then willing to share knowledge on how I could repair my fridge without him charging me. Never met someone so willing to go above and beyond to try and get me something I need to fix anything. Drove over here after have a HORRIBLE experience at another parts store on Grant.

Stay Away at ALL costs! I would give zero stars if I could. This guy is a hack and a scam artist. I took a vent hood to get repaired. He kept pushing to get me to bring all the pieces into him so that he could resale it if he needed to...which was no problem. However, his solution was to put 80's style black knobs on a stainless steel modern vent hood. Hideous. When I said no thanks he said that the cost to tell me that info was $400. And, even after paying a $300 deposit with card, he wanted me to come in and pay $400 in cash and then he would credit my card the $300. Sounds like tax evasion to me. Please stay away from the place.

We paid $100 deposit for him to see what was wrong with our ice maker and he said if it was "something small" he would go ahead and fix it. He calls us a few days later and says he fixed it for $830 without getting authorization from us ahead of time. He said he figured because the unit was expensive $830 was a small price!
He then wouldn't return it to us and said we had to sign something saying we sold it to him for the price of our deposit. Such a con artist! Complete scam, he should be ashamed of himself.
Edit to respond to the owners feedback: there is no world in which it is reasonable to make an $830 repair without getting authorization first, regardless of the original cost of the unit. And because you did the repair without prior approval, we did not have option to get the machine back in the condition we left it. You basically scammed your way into getting an expensive ice maker for $100.

Was trying to get a small refrigerator fixed. Said theyd call and never called back. I called them and they said theyre still looking and the tech would call me. I paid a deposit but didnt get any word of work or condition of the fridge. Gave up and lost my fridge to them.

79.00 is the charge for him to show up to the appointment. That was not the understanding. We will not be paying for someone to just show up to our doorstep, that’s not a profession. Mind you we had an agreement he would show up yesterday Between 2 - and 4 and no one showed up or called.

The drum on our dryer had a crack in it and it was very noisy. I talked to Allen about getting me a replacement drum. He bent over backward finding and getting one in just a few days. I appreciated the time and effort both Allen and Rebecca put in to help me.

They don’t have any 79 dollar special. They will hold your property hostage and do work not approved… they can’t even produce receipts and they only take cash… so they will charge for bogus work… they will take advantage over old people… no ethics.. this place needs to be audited

Zero stars!! They claimed they could fix my oven and I gave them $100 deposit, and since I live out of town it saved me money to bring the oven to the [repair?] store on 1st Ave.They said they would call in 1 week with an estimate on the repair. They never called. Three weeks later I went to retrieve my oven (that they never looked at), and they had damaged the gas line connected to the oven. I had to get a new gas line. When I did pick up my oven, the guy said he wouldn't even look at it until I gave a $500 deposit...that was news to me. He was very rude. I believe ALL of the negative reviews this business has received. Be wise and don't take your appliances here.
