The Angry German restaurant in Sierra Vista, AZ is becoming my wife's favorite. We first visited on a day where we really needed a pick-me-up, and this did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and the food was great. Last night we took my son and his girlfriend and had a fantastic experience. The place was packed. We thought that was a positive indication and we were right. We had the same great service by very attentive servers as we had the first time. My wife had the Jägrschnitzel and loved it. My son's girlfriend had the Reuben and thoroughly enjoyed that. My son and I each had the Schnitzel Cordon Beer. The sandwich was good and it came with beer cheese. The flavor was nice, but I would prefer a little more sauce. I'll know to ask for that next time. The prices are in line with most casual dining restaurants, but I would rate the food as better than most you get for this price. The parking lot is pretty small and can be cramped when the restaurant is busy.

As we were about to leave, we learned about their desserts which looked amazing. We were too full to consider the Bourbon Pecan Pie, Tiramisu, Italian Cake, or other treats. That just means we will have to go back.

Fantastic food, every morsel we had! My husband said his was so good, he wanted to join the "lick your plate club"😁. I try tirimisu every restaurant that offers it. This is of the best! Incredible menu! Superb customer service. These people care greatly that you are pleased with your experience in their restaurant.

We wanted to try something new and this place was recommended by a friend in Tucson. This place was busy and very well organized. Every employee was incredibly friendly and all seemed to be very happy doing their jobs. We had our dog with us so we had to order to go. Placing our order was a breeze. The girl that took our order was very kind and thorough, clarifying exactly what we wanted. As we were ordering another girl came and offered our daughter some stickers and she was thrilled about that. We received our food very quickly and we were able to eat outside at tables covered by a ramada. All of our food was hot a fresh. I ordered the regular Reuben sandwich with potato salad. The sour kraut is so tasty and the potato salad was excellent. My husband ordered the spicy chicken doner with French fries. He ate every bit and that is not common. He kept talking about how delicious the food was. He said the French fries were the best he's ever had at any restaurant and I concur. My daughter ordered the kids chicken tenders and they were very hearty and tasty. We will be back very soon. We saw employees coming out to say "thank you and see you again" to their guests. They definitely went above and beyond, something we don't see often these days. Give this place a try!

My wife and I came over from Elgin for an Early Friday dinner after she had found the Angry German as an interesting option online. Simply put, the food was straight amazing! It's been about 3 hours and I am still in a blissful food coma! I ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel and honestly could eat another one (well, maybe in a few more hours). We'll be back for sure, and we'll be bringing friends this time! Food, service and atmosphere all get aces in my book!

01/24/25 - The staff and food at the Angry German was impeccable & delectable! The staff was excellent serving us dinner, and dessert and I was stuffed! After a short wait because it was popular on Friday night the servings were large the sauces were delectable and full of flavor! Me and a friend had a Jägerschnitzel and the Schnitzel Cordon Beer sandwich and a side of the plain Spaetzle and the Sauerkraut which was excellent and we definitely highly recommend it! I also had a the apple streusel pie and grabbed a pretzel to go the beer cheese is to die for, tie on a couple of the blood orange beers on tap also!!! A true German food "food-coma" followed with the healthy portions, we were soooo full!!! Its a hidden Jem in Sierra Vista and will be promptly going back!!

Good German food with lots of desserts. We visited on a Sunday evening and it was busy. The wait staff did a good job keeping up and were nice. The restaurant is a simple but comfortable space. The menu has plenty of options for authentic German options. Prices are fair. I wish the food was as authentic as it could have been. The schnitzel special I got was pretty good, not the best I’ve had though. Most disappointing was the spaetzle. This was bland and wet and too thin. Good spaetzle I’ve had in the past is full of flavor, with hints of nutmeg and other spices. The pretzel was only okay. The dessert we tried was better, thankfully. With a bit of polishing, this place could be much better.

Many 'hole in the wall' can be great, but this place is better than I had even considered. Let me open up with this, I will be returning for second and then some.
A list of the menu shows some great choices to start and move up from there. The staff were chatty and kind and ready to find the answer if, on the rare occasion, you had a question they didn't already have the answer for. Tried a few of the brews and enjoyed my meal.
Be prepared to take home what you can't finish, for their price, you do get what you paid for.

Fantastic atmosphere and fabulous food with good drinks to boot.
