Had a great first time shopping experience in this store. Mainly wanted to try on a lace up dress shoe in an E width. We have had a hard time lately finding a comfortable fitting shoe in a D width (medium). Looked around briefly and then Jordan made some suggestions. He was very knowledgeable, professional and answered our questions. Didn’t necessarily plan on buying a shoe this evening and walked out with two pairs of shoes! My husband was really excited about them, finally something that fit him correctly. Would definitely purchase here again. Great overall experience!

Excellent service from Kalyan! My son and I both remarked at the exceptional experience we had on our
first visit to Allen Edmonds at the Summit. After being ignored at both Belks and Brooks Brothers, we decided to try a new store for men’s shoes. Beautiful store and great selection! Kalyan helped him with care information, shoe trees and a matching belt. I’m definitely making this my new store for men’s shoes.

After purchasing several pairs and accessories online, I just went to the Birmingham Alabama allen Edmonds store. Never before have I had a worse shopping experience. The two workers were fixated on the one other customer in the store and my wife and I were ignored for 30 minutes. We overheard the associate tell the other customer that they don't recommend seconds, they are not warranties, and no professional should wear that type of shoe. I'll find a new shoe.

(Visits: 1) I flew from Japan to come here and I was not disappointed. Okay... this is my home town, but I live in Japan and was here for a visit, but you can not get these shoes in Japan, so in a way I did fly here for this store. (There is one store in Ginza Tokyo Japan that sells Allen Edmonds for 100% markup and they only had 4 styles when I went). I have had my heart set on a pair of Allen Edmonds for nearly 2 years when I ran into a really dapper colleague at a conference. I told him, boy I love those shoes. I really want a nice pair like that. We talked for probably an hour about shoes. He taught me all about buying and taking care of nice shoes. He gave me a couple recommendations and Allen Edmonds was on that list. After looking on line at the shoes he reccomended Allen Edmonds where what I wanted. I spent a year in Japan searching, no luck. I shopped online on their website, but if I was going to spend this much on shoes I wanted to try them on, see them in person, etc. So I waited until my next trip home and I went strait the Allen Edmonds store. I was greeted by a 25-ish year old man. I told him I have only been wearing 100% Echo dress shoes for the last 15 years, its time to upgrade. I had an idea of what I wanted. Not black. Probably oxford cap toe. He was incredibly helpful. Incredibly knowledgeable. Patient. I knew next to nothing about nice shoes. He explained everything, soles, repair, upkeep, broguing, shoes lasts, colors, etc. Since I was kinda open to what shoes I wanted he helped me find a good deal. I walked out with about 600$ worth of stuff for $310. Shoes, matching belt and care kit. This guy was 15, 20 years younger than me but treated me with respect, taught me tons of stuff with out making me feel dumb. Helped me find the best deal when he didnt need to. (I think his name was Josh, blonde hair. If he is there, he knows his shoes!)

Very enthusiastic staff that entertained my nerdy shoe knowledge with their own extensive training. We also sat down and talked about fine watches. Very cool and bright kids that hold their own against old people. Walked out with two pairs almost for the price of one

Talk about make you feel like royalty! Went to go and get some shoes for my friends birthday and the guy working the store Jordan was such a delight ! Had me smiling ear to ear. Making you feel all nice. You should go just to meet him so sweet!
