They are nice and strict. They are not good at making people obey yielding. There are only 2 or 3 police units at any given time patrolling the city. Specifically, we that live in the Midwick Tract, I rarely or never see a police car drive by. Someone runs a yellow light: No ticket. U-Turn where "no U-turn appears in the intersection: No ticket.. No one is there to give out tickets.
As far as Auto accidents go. I had a light fender bender. The man wanted me to exchange insurance info and leave. I said "NO" You need to stay, my husband and son-in-law are coming to assist me. I called the police to arrive. The man wanted money to replace a bumper that already had 30-40 dents in it. I showed the policeman the man's back bumper and my front bumper. The only thing that could be seen was 2 tiny spots that weren't even dents. I even matched the 2 screws on my license plate the 2 perfectly matched. The paint was barely sloughed off. I told the officer Thank You. He told me that in the future I need to know that officers do not come and visually see an accident or make a notation about the accident. If I hadn't called the officer the man would try to make me pay for 2 dots on his bumper when there were already bumps and dents everywhere.

Not a safe city any longer, and now they are happy that it's a sanctuary city!!! Sounds like the criminals are running the city. All of our business in this city has stopped.

One of my best experiences ever in terms of speaking with the building officials! Everyone was patient and friendly. They walked me through their permit process. They are helpful in evwryway.

The city of Alhambra needs to put more visible parking signs in the streets for when to park because of Street sweeping. No proper signage on the streets and expects everyone to know the parking restrictions on my street. This city needs to do a better job with signs. Expects people to clear the whole road just for repairs on sidewalks when they brought a whole truck and trailer and they expected to park on the street with it. I parked on the street and I wasn’t interfering with the construction job police came to my house and made me move my car. The sign wasn’t even next to my car. Well anyways my street has some ugly ass trees that dirty my cars all the time city needs to replace them for better trees and chop them off already. It literally dirtys my car all the time.

Worst city, I’ve had so much crime and almost get into a car accident everyday. They have the worst parking laws ever. Don’t live here.

Very good experience doing business here! The parking permit process was easy and the guy behind the counter was very nice. The security guard went above and beyond to be of service to me and my boyfriend. Thank you so much sir, you are one of the good ones!!!

They would like to give you a ticket even if your parking permit was not on the right position of the car glass. They are nice and strict , and probably good at making people obey or yielding.

Mr. Perez Garica is the first city manager to communicate and resolve a problem within a few days, preventing problems from falling through the cracks.
