In all honesty, every time I look for the number of our Water Department, I feel so bad looking at the rating. My husband works with the public too, and sometimes it can really get to him to always hear negative responses.He says that’s when a lot of people take the time to rate you. I decided I will give my 5 cents because I know I’ve always been treated and helped decently. We’ve been in Adelanto from 2004. I’m thankful for you all, and yes, there is always room for improvement but in my experience every time I’ve had an issue, I’ve been treated professionally. Have a very blessed day and thank you for all you all do! We appreciate you! I will send a prayer your way! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Terrible infrastructure! I wish there was a 0 star option! The new and aledged improved on line payment system is impossible to get through. I entered my account number and it says it's invalid. I tried using the automated system via the call in service and still unable to pay. It is asking for numbers before and after the dash! There is NO dash in the account number that is on the bill THEY sent me! This city needs to have a complete restructuring of their management system. Being closed every Friday is ludicrous and there are way to many employees sitting around not helping customers. Maybe spread out the employees over more days. The residents of this community definitely pay for this service. The exorbitant amount they charge to have water makes me even more determined to be a former resident of this poorly managed city.

If your thinking about moving to Adelanto. Don't.
Our actual water usage will only be $30.
After all of the fees. Sewage. And trash our bill ends up being over $110 a month.
And the water has so much chlorine in it.
Every morning I brush my teeth it makes me SICK 😩
And has started to damage me and my husbands teeth drastically.
As well as a few other people we know who live here in adelanto (not with us).
It's horrible.
We want to move but we just resigned our lease for another year.
We won't resign it again and it's because of the water bill.

Paid every penny I had (including my moving truck money) to turn on this service. I was told services would be on by 6:30 pm. Went to the address at 6:30, no water. Incompetent company, takes from poor (because if we live in Adelanto we sure as hell ain't rich), and still can't provide the service you pay for. Astronomical deposits and those deposits can't even be forwarded to another address in the same city. Outrageous!

Horrible.
Customer service is bad they said on a thursday my water would be turned on they never showed up and i didnt know they closed fridays and closing fridays is ridiculous. This is a city service it should not be closed on weekdays.
Also the way they base your delosit and connection fee is stupid. They base it off last full 3 months of usage. So as a renter i pretty much end up having to pay more because of the people who were here before and so i had to pay $500 just for the deposit.

Called the representative Kayla was rude she didn't read the account correctly. Wanted to argue. When asked for a supervisor, was told to call back in an hour. Called back in an hour requested a supervisor right away. Never got to speak to a supervisor.

It is absolutely ridiculous how high the deposit is and you have to pay up front to start service. $560 DEPOSIT should be illegal, my friend started a petition and called the news to bring awareness to this unfair treatment.

Very rude and unfriendly! Got to see an elderly lady almost in tears because of how high her bill was and it was just her and her husband. If you complain they will tell you you might have a leak somewhere or that someone is stealing your water. 🙄😠
