During my time living here. I have no bad things to say. I have had no issues with getting things resolved. In a fast and efficient manner. The property manager and the entire staff is very friendly and compassionate about their jobs. To me that's very important. This place makes me feel at home. May be here for a while because of that.

I had a poor experience moving into Vida46. The apartment was clearly not cleaned (or was poorly cleaned), and was filled with mosquitos. The carpets smelled like dog urine and the floors were dirty. I had to request that management cleaned the apartment after move-in. The pool was also green and unusable for about 6 months.

I had to move out due to the noise from the construction happening across the street. When I moved out, I can say that the community has really turned around after new management. The pool and gym are nice, and the community is small and friendly.

I am in the fun predicament of trying to find a place to live during these very trying times! I met with Myra today and did a walk of the community and I really loved the atmosphere here! The grounds are so clean and the units are very nice and spacious. Myra was so sweet and answered any questions I had! The units are also reasonably priced in this crazy market! The community itself has had many upgrades recently as well! The gym being one and I could tell that they take great pride in the community! Thank you Myra for all your help!

I had an excellent experience with Mountain Gate Apartments. The staff, particularly Judy the Office Manager, were amazing in terms of accommodating my needs as a resident. I found neighboring residents to be polite and courteous. The pool was meticulously cleaned as were the laundry facilities. I am always cautious with regard to safety and security, particularly because I lived there with my two young children; however, I always felt safe with the on-site security manager, Wayne. I would recommend this apartment complex without reservation.

Looking for new places to rent in the Arizona area sure is tough right now. However I must say that Myra the office manager I met today made everything so simple. I never understood the rising prices on rentals however this property shows its worth. They are constantly upgrading and making sure the residents here are happy. It was like everyone that came into the office while I was there knew the manager personally and they got along so great. I am really looking forward to making this my new home. Thank you Myra!!

We have lived here now for almost 7 months and we have had nothing but issues with this complex. Firstly, the maintenance has been terrible. We had a list of things that needed to be fixed and when maintenance came, they only fixed a few of them. Other things that should have been simple, like window screens missing and the ceiling tiles in the hallway missing from an a/c leak, took MONTHS to get replaced. Anytime we tried to call for an update, we would get the run around, IF they even answered the phone. We just kept getting told “tomorrow” or “next week.” We eventually just had to keep submitting new service requests for the same issues. There has also been an outlet that doesn’t work in the room I use for my office, and maintenance told us they’d have to have an electrician out to fix it. It’s been 7 months and still nothing. I gave up after months of following up on that as well, and just have a whole bunch of stuff plugged into extension cords into one outlet.

The other big issue we’ve had is more recent with the air conditioning. They switched the heat on earlier than normal, a week before this past Thanksgiving. That was a little annoying seeing as it was still getting into the high 70s outside at that point, but we dealt with it. Now we are approaching mid-March, with it going to be up to 80 in a few days and they have NOTHING planned to have the air turned back on. We’ve called and emailed for the past week just to see when it will be happening, and the one time we got a response I was told they “thought” it would be on the next day. Now they are saying it’s going to be 7-14 more days. Why was this not planned out better and why are we not being given an actual date? There are only two windows and one door we can keep open for any kind of cool air and that isn’t much, especially since it’s always so sunny.

It is also very frustrating how impossible it seems to get ahold of someone. It honestly feels like they avoid all contact so they don’t have to give any answers to anything.

In spite of these ongoing issues, it is a very nice, quiet complex with decently upgraded units.

Lived here a year and have no complaints. Any problems we've had were taken care of immediately. I'm also really glad one of the laundry rooms is 24 hours. Management is great. Although I must say I know the cats better than I do my neighbors.
