I really like this thrift store. It has a clean atmosphere with loads of really nice things. My cousin found the coolest bowling pin end tables. It’s fun to swing in and see what they have to offer. I also like that it is associated with Veterans as my dad was one of them. We donated all his things when he passed away. ❤️

Everytime I come to the half priced day, the eldest lady that run the register overcharges me every time because I am slow and my fiance caught her pricing stuff differentl today and 3 or Saturdays ago.
The red barbs are extra it seemed it was for me today.
Been wanting to check out the AJ store but not anymore.

A huge variety of different kinds of products -- from furniture and dining/serving dishes, to crafts. It is a bit of a hit and miss on what type of products they have, but definitely a worth of checking out. Prices are very reasonable, especially when it comes to the furniture. And, of course, the profits go to the charity.

Prices are ridiculous without the sales. One of these stores has gone out of business and the rest will soon follow suit with this store following the path of over-priced and greedy thrift stores like “Goodwill”. Disappointing, as this was once a great spot.

they throw away massive amounts of donations. they have 2 dumpsters that they fill every day. at the very least, they could be sending unsellable items to the bins to keep them out of landfills. deplorable.

The place was clean and beautifully laid out. Very organized. My first time and I'll go back.

Used to be decent but prices are outlandish now, 5.49 for used t-shirts. The signs that say t-shirts are 1.50 are still posted but not honored. Staff is nice at least.

They also do auctions for stuff which is ridiculous. Will not be going back ever again.

Edit: I think you are missing the point, the shirts were 1.50 the last time I came in and now USED t-shirts are 5.49, with a sign up that says T-shirts 1.50. When I got to the register I was informed even though there was a sign that says "T-Shirts 1.50" that T-shirts were not 1.50, only plain t-shirts. So take the sign down, also I appreciate the store is for a good cause but sorry 5.49 for a used T-Shirt is just unacceptable. Thank you for your response though.
