DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Do not let these few, rare good reviews convince you to move into this complex. I have lived in many apartment complexes throughout my entire life, and I have never been to one that has given zero shits like this one before.

I'd like to start off that this is the only apartment complex that I've been to where we've been woken up out of bed because there's a POLICE search helicopter looking around the complex for almost an hour.

Our downstairs neighbors, as you can see, leave large amounts of rotting trash on their patio, causing a horrible smell. As many times as I have complained to the front office about a horrendous smell coming from the apartment down below, nothing was to be done and they simply do not give a shit. On top of that, our upstairs neighbors leave at least one or two pieces of trash by our front door every week.

Your AC unit will somehow be connected to your neighbors, therefore, you will most definitely smell the unit below or above you. We had to smell the disgusting apartment below us, even after getting a complete AC unit replacement. Not only was it nearly impossible, after DAYS of going without a working AC unit, I had to beg maintenance to get my AC unit fixed. Someone they hired, who didn't even speak English, which is TOTALLY fine, came in my apartment and carelessly destroyed my bedroom and bathroom where the unit resides. Not to mention the awful noises and horrible sounds they were making with zero warning, causing me to evacuate my animals and self from the apartment. What does the office have to say about it? Zip.

Oh, did they unexpectedly turn your water off for over 24 hours? Don't worry they have you covered with BUCKETS of water at the front office. Do what you will with that information.

Don't let the winter grass fool you, it's straight DIRT the rest of the year. The "landscapers" don't do ANYTHING except blow leaves and dirt around and leave it ALL in the parking lot. This complex is loud at night, barking dogs everywhere, the grills don't work at all, half the cars in the parking lot don't run and there's people out there working on them all the time.

And don't even try to contact the higher-ups. They won't even give you their information! 😂
Don't move here. Run from this complex as fast as you can.

Honestly, this place is as good as it gets in North Phoenix for the price and quality. The people at the front desk are awesome Leslie and Reign are always polite and attentive to our needs.

The apartment quality is nice and the maintenance crew is phenomenal. Every issue gets fixed asap.

Location is also GREAT - right next to a gas station and a Starbucks

I have lived here for over a year now and have seen multiple vehicles without license plates. Owners working on the vehicles with tools and oil all over the place. The grounds are poorly kept. The manager is very rude and condescending. If you try to report anything to them they will just put it underneath the pile and never do anything about it. I've had to call corporate multiple times now. I would not recommend moving into this place. It's going downhill.

I definitely have had my ups and downs with this apartment complex since moving in and looked past them and was looking forward to renewing my lease . Unfortunately, I will now be looking somewhere else as they’re implying a new rule where residents have to apply for parking spots one spot free, any extra vehicles you must pay for which is understandable but now they are making our guest pay a five dollar fee if they come here I’ve been to luxury apartments and they always have a designated Parking spot for the apartment tenant and they have uncovered parking for guests and they do not make you pay to be there. Now here even if your guest is here for a couple hours they’re requiring them to pay a five dollar permit. maybe if this was a really nice luxury apartment complex with a nice parking lot it would make sense but unfortunately it’s not. It is very unfortunate that I feel the need to move now because of this decision that they are making.

I would like to give more stars to Elara Paradise Valley, especially because Marileth, the assistant manager, has always been available to help me. I also want to thank the maintenance team for promptly fixing any issues in my apartment whenever I called.
However, I am unable to give a higher rating because there are always things that need to be fixed. It would be great if the apartment was thoroughly checked before being rented out, so future tenants feel more comfortable and happy.
Additionally, since November, I have not been paying my rent according to the contract I signed, and it has become unacceptable to pay differently each month. I have to check the payment details regularly, which is inconvenient.

I hope that in the future, improvements can be made to ensure renters are happier and more satisfied with their living experience.

This place is a joke landscapers have not been here in a month. Office personnel lies to your face. Pools never clean hot tubs work rarely. A lot of bad elements moving in trashing everything one grill has no handle the other don’t work we pay for community gas nothing works 17 a month. We pay for landscaping you will see pics. Every month it gets a little worse. The last pic is of a patio in the complex have complained for almost 2 years. There has been a stabbing and 2 suicides in one and a half years. Not a good place.
